The link below shows how to create a shortcut for fast disabling of your firewall: http://www.techrepublic....-windows-7-firewall/3865You also have to temprorarily disable any other Anti-virus programs. I did both (quickly with shortcut) and the Craftroon initlized right away, and worked great.

If you have added cricutcraftroom.exe and ccrbridge.exe as exceptions to your anti-virus software there should be no need to disable it or the firewall.
