Wow, now that was a quick turn around. Hopefully our fun winter weather we are having here in Kansas does not slow it down. Excited to go through and find some different paper.

Could we all please check in, and yes, even those whom have already gotten their paper, if you wouldn't mind. Just want to make sure you are still around. I am also polling for interest in doing a second round. I have 5 people who are interested and are not in this round because they did not see the post until the swap had already been closed. So, please post if you are interested in doing a second round...I have another stack of paper we could start off with, or we could go with whatever is in the box when it makes it's way back to me. I am also considering opening it up to more swappers, say 15 - 20, or having 2 groups of 10 - 12, so that we would still only take a couple of months rather than 4 or 5 to complete the swap. Suggestions? Opinions? Advice?
Thanks for making my first swap as a hostess so enjoyable. Blessings, GG.

Dear friends, I have read posts here about lost brothers and babies, and my loss seems very small, but it is still very real to me. My Princess, the pretty face in my avatar, died last Friday about midday. She had cancer in her lungs and could not breathe any more.
We had her for sixteen years and two weeks. She always loved us no matter what. We have no children, so she was my baby, and I miss her so much!
I have to go pick up her ashes today, and we are going to bury her in out garden, under the olive tree. Her daddy wanted to choose a spot that won't be dug up.
I know what we did was the best gift we could give her, and they call it going to sleep but she didn't, she didn't want to die. I can't stop crying for my little girl.
Please pray for me.
NGGG

NGGG NGGG, I'm so sorry! Just reading your post made me cry! I know what you mean about her being your baby! I have two chihuahuas and if something happened to one of them or we had to put them to sleep I would be lost and heartbroken! They are part of our families and when they pass your losing a family memeber! Take it day by day and if you feel the need to cry then cry! I hope things get better for you! If you ever need someone to talk to you can pm me! Luvskrapin

NGGG.....oh, sweetie, I am so sorry for your loss. It is not small in anyway. Our pets love us so purely and unreservedly, and bring us such joy. I still miss my first baby, Majzha, a ChowChow we had before our human babies. She actually had four puppies the same day I had my oldest son. You must allow yourself to grieve. Our vet actually made a cast of Majzha's paw for us as part of the cremation procedure. We keep it on our mantle. She was a big part of my sons's lives, and will always be remembered. Some day the memories of your precious baby will bring joy along with the tears. You will be reunited with her when it is time, until then, know God holds her in His arms. Blessings, GG.

The package was waiting for me on my counter when I came home from work today! Yay!! I went through the paper and picked out 37 sheets. I added 58 sheets. I have some pretty (to me anyway) paper that I have multiple sheets of so I added two of each to the paper left by me. I will mail out tomorrow.

Thanks for the update booklover. We are just flying right along on schedule....yay! Y'all are super great! Just have NGGG to receive and mail, then back to me. I am excited to get the box back, and pick out some paper as well. I will take a week or two break when this round is over, during which time I will have sign ups for the second round, and then we will start again. Hope you all are enjoying your paper. Those interested in the second round, watch for my post! Blessings, GG.

Thanks for the tracking number booklover. GG
NotGoingGreyGracefully......package is on its way to you....YAY!! Have not heard from you lately, so could you give me a check in so I know you are doing well, please? Thank you.....worry about my swappers if I do not hear from them...lol. GG
After NGGG, the paper comes back to me. I will then have sign ups for Round 2, in which I will use the paper from this round, plus some I still have at home, minus any pages I wanted to keep (I started the swap with 65 pieces of my own paper). Also, unless there are any objections, I will be donating any left over paper to a local shelter. I have started teaching a card class every month there, donating my time and supplies, so the paper will be greatly appreciated. I will only take out the amount I put in, or any that will not fit in the box, while leaving room for more paper to be added. Thank you. GG

GG, I have been off the boards for a while as I mourn my lost furbaby. We buried her ashes, along with our other two puppies that died 16 years ago, under the blooming olive tree in the back yard on Sunday, and DH found a beautiful stepping stone to place over the grave. It reads, "Love brings sunshine", which is so appropriate because Princess was our "Sunshine Baby", always laying in the sunshine no matter how hot it was, whether inside or out, and she was so full of love.
I look forward to getting the package today, and will have it back on its way to you tomorrow, as I have the paper I am ready to trade already separated out. Today I see my hospice patient, then my therapist, and tomorrow is a day off for me. But it is good for me to get out of the house and do for others, especially right now.
One of my recent Bible study lessons emphasised praying for what you need specifically (Abraham's servant at The well, looking for a wife for Isaac, prayed so specifically for Rebecca!), that I am thinking about what I want in a puppy when our hearts are ready for a new furbaby. And I am writing little stories about Princess, that I'm calling "Princess Tails", to remember all the best things about her and what a blessing she was to us.
Do you still have my phone #? It's my cell, you could send a text if I fall off the edge of the world again. And I think I would like to be in on round two, also, if there is room. Please donate any paper from me, I am putting in stuff I know i will never use, like Halloween paper, so I would be glad to donate it to someone who will use it. Paper is one thing I don't think I'll ever run out of!!

Just checked, since the mail has come and no package for me, it's still in San Antonio!! Won't even get to Corpus until tonight, and I may not get it until Saturday (they still deliver mail on Saturday, don't they?). Bummer! But I should have it on it's way back on Monday, even if it comes Monday and I take it late in the day.
