Please help!! I am new to Cricut and just made my first purchase of digital images to use with my expression 2. Even ny computer savvy husband cannot get it it to work. We have tried all the usual reboot, reintstall, uninstall, etc... We just end up with the Cricut Craft Room homepage "initializing". Grateful for any assistance!! Depending on what you are running, you can add Program Files(x86)/Cricut-Craftroom (and subfolders) to your exception list.

I am having the same problem. I uninstalled craft room but now when I try to reinstall it says there is another file with this name already. I'm so frustrated, this project was going to be a 5 min thing and it has been hours.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I thought someone, Cricut Gena, I think said there was a way to do it with windows 8. I'll do a search for that post/thread and paste the info here. D- Okay here is the info. Hope this helps!! D- It was posted in the Cricut Design Studio Forum and the thread is titled Windows 8. Hello! The Design Studio and Craft Room programs are compatible with Windows 8, you just have to run the programs in compatibility mode with windows 7. To do this right click on the programs icon from your desk top. Then select Properties, From there select the compatibility tab. Check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility with" and select Windows 7 from the drop down menu. Click apply and you should be able to use both programs.
As far as linking cartridges goes, you can only link a cartridge to one account.
I hope this answers your questions!
