I have everything set at the lowest setting all "1"(which shouldn't be cutting through anything) and still cutting through both layers of vinyl. I took the blade housing out, removed the blade, put it back in and still having the problem. Also, I gently wiped the machine on the base where the mat goes through to make sure there wasn't any buildup of any kind or dust. Help!

Oh my gosh, I'm not sure what the problem is. I use the following settings on my E2, speed 2, pressure 3 and blade 3. What type of vinyl are you using? I do know that when I cut contact paper it cut but it went through the backing. You're not using the deep blade housing are you?
