Yikes! It's 2 am and I'm still up. I've been in my room purging more LOL

Paula, I looked but I don't see any music stamps. I may have had a CTMH one but my friend bought all the CTMH I had for sale. Sadie is back into the routine of sleeping in the tub. She still hasn't laid down on the floor yet though.

Carrie, when I finish it, if we are staying, I will look for a job then. It's nice that you are getting to work on your Rome pics.

Well, D called and the supervisor had still not gotten the app from HR. So he went down there and talked with HR to see what the problem was. Didn't really find out but one of the HR people sent it along so at least the supervisor will get it now. D is going there tomorrow to find out. I just hope they are not yanking his chain for some reason. this shouldn't have taken so long. The stress of waiting is making me a b*&^* and I've not been very nice to be around. I just want to know what direction our life is going so I can figure out what I'm going to do!

Rhonda, I am glad you are getting the much needed snow. I know it won't be enough, but at least snow will melt into the dry ground, whereas rain would just run off and not do so much good. Nice you have an unexpected day off.
Laurie, I hope D gets some answers today from the casino. Your projects and purging have inspired me to get back to mine. We are holding off on the major remodel (kitchen) until after the 1st and we see where the defense cuts are going to be. But I still have the purging.
Lizzy, I too would like to see Sarah's dress, but I am not sure you have my verizon email. Hang in there for a few more days on the school work.

Well, I had a productive day yesterday cutting exploding box parts using the free cuts. I had to stop and run up to M's to get white 12x12 paper for the inside pieces on some, but I managed 6 for future gifts. I also got the cfs box ready to ship and I started a new paper scrap box for youngest dgd's class and/or the school art teacher.
I also printed 9 images to color for the birthday card swap I am in. I decided to do them all the same. I will use different papers, but they will all be the easel style card.
I also printed pictures for 2012 gingerbread pages. I think I am going to be good on the page kits for the crop. Need to start gathering embellishments.

I am off to the grocery store to get salad fixings and the bank to make a deposit. By then Staples should have the society newsletters printed and I can pick them up.

Hello from the frozen icy world of Ohio. We are coated in a quarter inch of ice. Accidents everywhere and it isn't even 7 yet. Schools are closed in the city and all surrounding areas. I wonder if the cars will even start.

Paula if the alien spacecraft was anywhere near my house yesterday I probably would have jumped on. Boy that was a story. I should have taken some photos and scrapped it. Good to hear Deb is doing well. Godo luck with M house today.

Laurie I never thought to look at your blog. Guess I'll need to check that out. I did find that bathroom picture on Facebook though.

Last night I tried to tidy up my work table so I can maybe cut the titles for the society pages.
Then I need to make a plan for the 2012 gingerbread pages and start printing those pictures.
First I am off to the PO to mail the cfs box and the society newsletters.

Rhonda, I see you popped in while I was typing. I heard some of your snow totals on the news last night. Stay safe on the roads. Is it far to work? Whoa on the shoveling. That is a lot of good exercise, but I can see why you are are sore. I got another cemetery look-up yesterday. It is a small cemetery at a church and the date is more recent, so it should be easy to spot. I might do it while I am out, but it is supposed to be nice Sunday, so I might just wait.

good afternoon. I got all my errands ran this morning, took care of a phone call I had to make about a hotel in Maine for August and have been working on page ideas the rest of the time. I was going to go do a couple of find a grave look-ups, but was afraid I would get caught in freezing rain. I would have been ok, so now I am wishing I had gone. Maybe Jim & I can get out first thing tomorrow. Rhonda, I have 4 I need to take care of in 3 different cemeteries. Would like to get them done and off my plate.

Paula, glad you were spared the freezing stuff. Hope the *M* house wasn't too bad.

good morning. We got lucky last night and while the roads were wet, the temps were right at freezing, so not as many icy spots.
Rhonda, one of the cemeteries I have a request for is a newer Jewish one. It is beautiful and BIG and I would have never gone there if I had not gotten a request. I forgot though, that their office is closed on Saturday, so I will have to do that one tomorrow.
Hope the Hornets have good games today and enjoy time with your friend.
While I could easily hunker down here at home today, I want to get other things taken care of, that require leaving the house.
I have much to do still to be ready for my crop on the 7th. I thought I had printed pics for the 2012 gingerbread decorating, but I was mistaken. I also have titles to cut and photo labels to print out for society pages. The titles are quick as it is just the location and the dates once I pick a font to use, which is probably why I put them off. I think I have way more kits than I will get done in 3 days, but maybe not.

I saw on FB, Carrie is off to sun and sand. Wishing her a relaxing time and safe travels.

Well, pending D passing his drug test he's going back to the casino. thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. As long as he hasn't had any lemon poppy seed muffins, he will pass it. So, our fixer uppering and renovations will continue :) Painting the master bath is next.

Good Sunday morning, friends. I am sick again, but hanging in. I took NyQuil both Friday and Saturday nights which helped. I entered all of my grades for my report cards yesterday and hope to get all of the comments finished up today. I have 20 left and am doing them in increments of 10 each.

I did email the photo of Sarah's dress to everyone except Pat whose email I don't have. Sorry, Pat. If you can send it to me as a PM on either here or FB, then I'll send it to you.

Laurie, I haven't counted down the days to Sarah's wedding; I have counted down the number of days I have left of working. I know that I have five more weeks of work before I go off track again. That actually is just 24 days because the last day is a holiday because it's Good Friday. But, who's counting? LOL

I will be very glad when this week is over. I have two after-school meetings this week which make life difficult because they give me little time to tidy my room or wrap things up because I have to race out of there. However, one meeting is really silly and my friend, Lily, and I scheduled to go to it then so we won't have to be there for the entire thing! (She was clever and figured out the best date to go.) The other one is about retirement!

The wedding plans are coming along really well. We have everything nailed down and all I have to do now is reserve the hotel rooms and then we are good to go. Well, that's not true. Terry and I need to get clothes. And, of course, I need to figure out when certain people are arriving so I know how many night to reserve their rooms!

Rhonda, I'm sorry the snow was so deep, but I know you really needed the moisture. It is too bad you cannot attach a snow plow to the front of your mower...but as you said, it's only every several years you have a snow so deep. Maybe you need to find someone to plow the driveway for you!

Pat, you be careful as you get the various storms. Stay inside and purge, purge, purge!

Well, ladies, the report cards are calling my name. After that, I have to plan lessons at least for tomorrow. I know we will be finishing a writing, but I have to get moving on other things as well...so I've got to go here and press onward. Everyone take care. Laurie, of course, mum's the word on FL.

good evening everyone.. it appears that everyone had a good weekend. It was sunny today, but we also had a period of wind gusts. Jim & I took care of all the find a grave requests. I just need to send a note to one person. I noticed she has a number of requests for NC and we will be going by two of the cemeteries this weekend, so we are going to try to do them for her. We won't have a lot of time to spend, so hoping they might be easy. Main thing is they are not out of the way.

I also got all my layout pictures printed and trimmed. Just need to work on solid cs for matting. I worked on the 4 birthday cards for March. These are the tea group I am in. Made them all the same and used all scraps from my stash. I need to cut some teapots for embellishments tomorrow, but all the other parts are cut and ready to adhere. Glad to have those almost off my plate also.

Lizzy, I messaged you on FB with my email. Sorry you are feeling sick again. Hopefully you can head it off. Glad you are almost done with report cards. Your work days are dwindling away.
No storms in our area right now. Just chilly temps. We have been known to have big snows in March, but not as many as in Feb though.

Rhonda, good you are looking at the positive side of your snow. It is definitely a lot to deal with though. Year before last (I think it was), we had back to back blizzards. OMG, I thought we would have snow until June. Last year and this, we have had hardly any.

Laurie, glad to hear things worked out for D and mum will be the word. Too funny about the poppy seeds. Have you got the mirror yet for the one bathroom? I did some purging today when I was looking for papers for the cards. I am tossing a lot into a box for youngest dgd's teacher.

We are going to be in Jacksonville. Even though our nephew lives in Cary, we hardly ever go to the Raleigh area. This trip is for the Komen walk. Jim is walking with his cousins. Only one of them knows we are coming. It will be a surprise for the others.
I am going to get busy now. I need to find some breakfast first.

Hey Rhonda, which airport did you say you use? Since I have been looking at flights for Tay I thought I would check it out. Chi. to KC is not terrible.

DS is not going to NC this weekend so we canceled the flights. Ugh! He is going to a open house thing for the program Katie is in. They have another one scheduled for April (we just found out that fact today) so he will go then.
We can get a flight out of South Bend cheaper than we were going to pay for this weekend out of Chicago. You know how I love being in Chicago traffic!

Sorry to hear about your teacher friend Lizzy. That must be pretty scarey for her.

Hey Lizzy!! We got a goodie bag in our hotel room. They had a note on it and put water, some candy and an assortment of chip type snacks.

We had SUNSHINE today. I think it might have made it to the 40s. DS and I chopped ice off the driveway today and he shoveled some of the slushy stuff that was melting.
Now we are under a winter storm watch. Freezing rain and then snow. It will be interesting to see what morning brings.

Laurie, did D get put back to work? I guess that means you will be losing your helper on the house projects.

I did run to the bank. There are pellets falling out of the sky. It is very noisy but when it hit my windshield it was more like rain. When this freezes it will be a mess. If the snow comes on top of it, it may be a bit better.
DS is at band at the college. I am hoping it waits to freeze until he gets home.

I sent in my deposit today for the weekend crop in Nov. I guess I should pay the rest of my bills too. I do want to make up a pot of veggie soup. A nap is an option too. (not really...just sounds good)

I was planning on veggie soup but I remembered I have a roast in the freezer so if I can cut a chunk off it will be veggie/beef soup. Pot pie sounds good too.
Sorry about your headache. That weather can do a job on the sinuses.
It it trying to snow here now. Still kind of like pellets though. Crazy weather!!
