I haven't bought the expression 2 yet, but I was wanting to know something about it before I buy it. I am planning my little man's first birthday and it's a Mickey Mouse theme. Will I be able to cut out the mickey shaped head with whatever is pre-loaded? Can I merge shapes to make one cutout, like three circle shaped like Mickey? I hope I am making since. Also, there is a Mickey Mouse cartridge for the personal cutter, is it compatible with the expression 2? Thanks for you help!

I just got the Expression 2 and I tried what you wanted to know and you can't do that unless you are working through the Craft Room. As far as the cartridge, if it's a cricut cartidge, I am pretty sure it's compatable with any cricut machine. I do have to say that so far the Expression 2 is so worth it. I have the Imagine and it's crap. Hope this helps.

As long as you have a Gypsy or use the Cricut Craft Room, you can use circles and weld them together to make a Mickey head. Yes, the cartridge is compatible in all machines. Have fun!

My neighbor has the Cricut and I have both the mini and Cricut Expressions 2. It was so worth the buy. We use my Expressions2 for everything now and using the craft room makes it 100 times better.
