Hi All,
Is there a way to click on an image that has been placed on a layer and have it tell you which cartridge it came from?

No, but you can get it to tell you which cartridges were used in the design which should narrow it down for you.
Click on the keypad icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Click on the cartridge filter - bottom left of screen
From the Show menu click on the down arrow and select Cartridges in Use
