Can Design Studio be copied to a flash drive to allow me to use it in a small laptop notebook that I inherited from my daughter.
If so, does anyone know the size needed for the flash drive?

I would say no.
I'm sure they would have designed it so it couldn't be copied.
It is designed to be used on only one computer at a time.
You could call PC and see if it would work on that particular computer.
They would have to deactivate it on the computer you have it on now.

I have mine on an external hard drive (it is 250G) and have no problems with it whatsoever. My folder says it's about 145MB but sometimes that is deceiving.
When I got my new computer, I reinstalled DS on the external drive. I didn't call PC either. I downloaded it from the internet and used my serial code and it works fine. It's worth a try.
You will want a drive be enough for the udpates - if there are anymore - hope so.

I have my DS on my laptop I use in my craft room and I have a trial version on my desktop that I can download onto and then email to my laptop. This works great for me, hope it helps
