a board member posted she was wanting cricut 9 months cartridge, our walmart had it for $20 on clearance, so I went and got her one shipping $4 total $24 she assured me she would send the $24 so I mailed her the cartridge, She refuses to answer my emails or phone calls after saying she got the cartridge and again would send the money. I am out $24 and can't believe she will not respond. -----------her post after getting the cartridge------ Hello. Looking for either a used,new or no longer needed Lite 9 Months cart. My husband and I found out we are expecting in Sept and I would love to have this cart to scrap my whole pregency. Just looking to save some money. Thanks. Update: thanks to a member on here, she was able to get me one.

I am so sorry the other person didn't follow through and send the payment. It makes me very sad to see generous and giving people, like yourself, get ripped off. I hope she realizes that she has stolen that from you and will feel guilty enough to send you the money. Not likely, but I'm hoping!

 I am so sorry you were not paid for your time and generosity. If you ever find something for someone, make sure you have the money in hand before sending out the item. I had the same thing happen. This is very upsetting to all the honest ladies here and there are many. God bless you.

I am so very sorry that this happened to you, I remember seeing that post and yesterday was at walmart and was going to post today that I could get one for $20.00 if they still needed it. Thank you for posting this as a reminder that there are always people looking to take advantage of others kindness.As Scrapalette said maybe she will see that this is stealing,I hope so. I am so sorry that you have not received your payment for the cartridge. Lets pray and hope for the best in this situation. You were so nice and kind and you did a wonderful gesture. Do you still have the address you mailed the cartridge too? Maybe you could write her a letter or get the local authorities involved.

Yes I have her address and lawyer hubby suggest contacting local authorities and the postal service. giving her time to respond first but it has been several weeks.

If she is, in fact, pregnant, I hope she teaches better morals to her child then she lives by. It really makes me angry to see someone take advantage of someone's generosity, not to mention financially.
I really hope she becomes an honest person and pays you the $24 PLUS a very long Thank You & I'm Sorry Letter.

have to respond and give credit where due my hubby got me hooked on Keeping Up Apperances. Oh my gosh such a funny show and poor hubby was so hen pecked. Loved watching it along with him and had to add The lady of the house speaking you know that mrs. bucket too funny.

Sorry that happened to you--it makes it hard for others on here that are honest. Just goes to to show, I guess, that you have to be doubtful and make sure you receive money before sending the product out. Hopefully she will pay but since it has been a few weeks as you state, I doubt she is going to. And I would definitely make sure she is listed on the list as a negative.

I agree! I have wanted to repond to her original post and ask her to please pay you but then I always remind myself to mind my own business and not help to create any drama on the boards. I hope all is well with her too and that nothing has happened. Still, it would just be good manners to at least answer you with an explanation!

I hope nothing has gone wrong in her pregnancy...you just never know with these things. I know when my son was born premature that I never checked my e-mail for the 3 months he was in the hospital. Here's hoping that she will respond soon. You are so trusting in such a crazy world - it's nice to see people like you

Yay for you and I am so happy that she was able to get you the payment. I hate thinking the worst of people and she certainly redeemed herself. In this online world we live in, we never know when someone else may be going through some unforseen difficulties.

just got word that her check I waited three weeks for bounced higher than a rubber
ball thru the bank I was so embarassed as my hubby cashed it for me so they took
that amount back out of our account. OMgosh................
