Is Provo Craft going to replace the green cutting blades soon I haven't been able to cut anything since I ran out of red ones and can't find them on the market anywhere.I am getting close to putting my machine and 95 cartridges in the dumpster. Can anyone tell me about the Silhouette Cameo>

Are the green one bad? I thought that they just changed the rubber covering color and not the blade itself?
I have not bought a green blade yet.

OP, are you talking about the Green Blade Housing, that holds the blade? You might have to call PC and see if they have any available because I have never seen them for sale anywhere.

My Expression came with the GREEN blade housing when I bought it in Feb. 2008. It still works perfectly. I use my Expression quite a lot.

Char When I bought my expression in '08 or '09 it came with a green PLASTIC blade housing. I wasn't crazy about that as I use it all the time, so I exchanged it with the green METAL housing that came in my little bug. I have also used the new blades with the green plastic instead of the red plastic covering the blade and they seem to work fine.  Edited by user Friday, February 08, 2013 6:20:59 PM(UTC)

If you are talking about the blades only...they used to have a little red covering on the tip of the blade. Those little coverings are now green. They are the same blades.
