Hiya! Well, I'm going to take the plunge and become a Circle member.  
I'm doing it thru the "rewards" and have a query:-
When I click on the cart. I chose and it shoots it into my "basket", it shows that it's a "download". Does this mean that one doesn't get the physical cartridge, but just a download for CCR???
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I did not use rewards but as soon as I ordered it , it was in ccr and then my actual cart came
should be the same for you.

Hello Ladybug! When you order the membership through rewards you are ordering a promo code. This promo code will be emailed to you about 24-48 hours after purchase with a link to take you to cricut.com to make the actual purchase. When you are at the check out remember to put in your promo code and then hit apply. This will take off the cost of the membership and you can continue through and place the order. Once the order is completed you will receive the physical cartridge in the mail and you will be a Circle member. There is no immediate digital version added to your Craft Room account, you will be able to add the cartridge digitally to Cricut Craft Room once you receive the cartridge in the mail.
I hope this clears thing up a little!

Ladybug,
There is a sticky on the top of the Cricut Chat that shows the steps with purchasing the Circle Membership with your rewards points.
I used this when I purchased mine back in December.

I used this when I purchased mine back in December. Hiya! Yes, I did see that. Thanks! It will be a big help when I get my promo code, etc. But it didn't mention anything about my orig. query. Seeing "download" really threw me off. I'm glad that we get a physical cartridge.

I think you might have joined when PC was going ahead and activating the carts in CCR so new Circle members wouldn't have to wait to get the physical carts to be able to use the images. But, some Circle members who were joining, needed/wanted to sell the cart to cover their membership fees, so PC stopped activating the images. So many things change. . .sometimes from day to day!
