Rebecca - I'm glad you like it! It looks like the flower started to pull off the top though It should be easy enough to just push back down if you like (unless you like the off kiltered look!) Robin - My pic issue is a computer issue...My program freezes when I try to search for the pic to upload. I'm trying a new browser to see if that helps. Thank you though

Ladies all the spools are soooo cool! I absolutely love the hot air balloon. I find it so amazing how we all start with the same materials but come up with such different ideas. I too cannot wait to see what we can come up with for the mousetraps.

PLANLADY - you did an excellent job, so many detailed touches. The burnt orange color is perfect for my decor. I love it and proudly showed it off to my scrapbook girls who want to know where all the bling came from. Maureen glad you liked it. The bottle is an empty dewdrops bottle. Just take anything and ink it mist it and go for it. The wings are from a little craft store here and they were silver so i just inked them also. Then of course you can't do anything steampunk without adding some timmy to it so just some gears, keys, and the spool was wrapped with baker's twin. I know some are having problems with seeing pictures.. they are not coming through on mine either so i will post this on my blog now that I know Maureen has it. terri

Thank you on the hot air balloon. I agree that it is amazing to start all with the same material and no two spools looked alike. I can only imagine what those mousetraps will look like. K

Gggggrrrrr~ Tired of MB issues. Can't post pics. Can't see pics....can't thank people. Cindy~ I thought the flower was supposed to be that way. I love it...Thanks so much! I loved making yours for you. It can also be used as a note/pic holder. Kel~ Thanks, I had a great time. As soon as I came up with the idea it came easily. I loved doing it! Hope everyone is having a great week. Hope I can see all the pictures of the great spools sometime soon Have a Wonderful Wednesday, ladies ~Rebecca Edited by user Wednesday, February 06, 2013 3:18:00 PM(UTC)

For those having issues with posting pics, I'm not sure where the problem stems, but last night I disabled Java (since I heard the newest update had some security issues) and then I uploaded my photo to photobucket.com and then just use the IMG code. Copy and paste the code directly to your post (do not check "attach file" box to upload your photo) and it should work. You're basically pasting your picture under your response. HTH. Yes, she used wires to attach the stars. What a great idea! I love it! So my thing!!! Thanks for the info on the pics. I'm having a difficult time seeing and posting pics ~Rebecca

Hi, ladies! This is the altered spool I got from Candy. It is a crocheted bookmark with a spool at each end. Sorry it is so small. It is very sweet and pretty. The color is light blue and the letters spell out my name. My little boy liked it so much he tried to take it away. "Mine." "No, mama's." "Mine, mama!" Thank you, Candy, for sharing your talent. I didn't know you could crochet! edited to add: Candy, your box should be at the PO Box by now. I have pictures if you need me post for you when you do get a chance to check your mail. Just let know I will be happy to do it for you. Edited by user Saturday, February 09, 2013 7:57:52 PM(UTC)

I like the tinkertoy concept, and the fact that I can put my tracking numbers from the PO on it to keep handy until posted so I don't misplace it. Thank you SweetCreations. CandyHazzard...cool bookmark. I would love to learn how to crochet. SweetCreations...what a cool use of an unusual item...tinker toys, who'da thought. Great way to think outside the box. ArtPaperFiber...once again a glorious creation. I love how you added those little charms to the tops of the pins...so crafty. Kelley...did you ever think you'd get these many creations from just a little spool? This has been an awesome swap and everyone has done a fantastic job. Can't wait to see how the altered mouse/rat traps turn out. Edited by user Thursday, February 07, 2013 10:28:21 AM(UTC)

Just wanted to say WOW to ArtPaperFiber for such a wonderful spool and thank her for posting pictures for me. I still can't post or view any pictures. Makes me sad cause I can't see the pretty creations. I'm sure they are as wonderful as mine tho.
I have it sitting on a shelf so that I can see it whenever I'm in my craftroom. Just beautiful Thank you again sweetie
Kelley, thanks for a fun swap. I will be "lurking" in the mousetrap swap to see what is created. Have fun with them
Hugs Sweets

I just picked up my spool from Lori ... It is awesome, love it ... an alchemists notebook ... did you make the pot Lori? if so what is it made from? I hope I can still post pictures, I haven't tried since I've been unable to see them ... here goes ... Well that didn't work ... I get a network path not found error ... I've been uploading pictures the same way since they started this new board ... I've asked Lori to post the pictures for me. Edited by user Saturday, February 09, 2013 11:13:40 AM(UTC)

Candy, I am so happy you like it! Yes, I made the cauldron. It is made out of air-dry clay by Crayola. It has jewelry wire and glass beads. The "mixture" is glitter and glossy accents. I was reading your master questionnaire with my sister and she said to do something with Harry Potter since we both liked the books. That got me really excited about the project. If you haven't already, twist off the cap, there is a recipe in there for you to try if you ever need it. lol Edited by user Saturday, February 09, 2013 7:43:08 PM(UTC)
