got this on FB
"A little bug told me that there will be an extremely sought-after Cricut® cartridge released tomorrow! Watch for the Hello Thursday announcement sometime in the next 24 hours!"
I'll bet this the extreme font cart, but hoping for a different one.

I bet it is Extreme Fonts. Can't wait to have it added in its complete form to CCR. I got Extreme Fonts at Michaels last week. I really like the fonts. I like that it has two fonts that cut well at a tiny size. Perfect for welding words for card fronts. I also LOVE that it has two different varsity type fonts on it. The tall thinner one that we could play with on CCR and a shorter wider one. I really wanted the Lite Varsity Letters cart but live 45 mins from the closest WalMart.
I hope there is more than just the one cartridge released this month especially since I already have it. lol
Can't wait to see what there is.

I didn't see it on the home page, but found it under new releases and checked out the manual.
I was disappointed to see that several of the fonts are so much like what we already have. Varsity letter is one. The scrolly one is pretty but I would like it would be hard to cut b/c it is so thin.
I think I will pass on this one.

I think I will pass on this one. I 100% agree...and they didn't even give the thin-scrolly one a shadow. I recall that the scrolly one sets the minimum size at around 11 inches (probably the reason for the non-shadow...it wouldn't fit on the mat). This font might be so BIG that it would be easy to cut...of course, I only scrapbook, so I'd only get 1 letter on a page. Edited by user Thursday, February 07, 2013 2:50:26 PM(UTC)

I really wanted a font cartridge, but you are right about much of it being similar to other carts. I was hoping for completely different ones. (as in extreme) I do like the new ones though.

The last must have cartridge for me was Create A Critter 2. I am kind of relieved to not be tempted by this cartridge since I am broke after just upgrading from my baby bug to the Expression.

Just got this in a email if anyone is actually interesting in buying the cart: Cartridges & More - Extreme fonts for $34.49I cannot vouch for the company - never even heard of them. But their website looks very "Cricuty" LOL! I can cut my over 1200 fonts for free..... so no thanks on that cart.

Would the skinny font be a good one to use with gel pens? We've been begging for a font for drawing only (no double lines).
