If you are looking for a group to meet with, go to meetup.com. Do a search in cardmaking,scrapbooking, for possible groups that are meeting in your area. I met some good friends that way.
If not one, you could always start a group.

Hi Patricia! I am a Patricia, too. A great way to get to know us is to join some of the swaps on this board, found under RAK's and Swaps. Check out the Monthly Cut RAK, the Monthly Embossing Folder RAK, and the Consecutive Letter Swap. These are all 3 open to everyone, run continuously, and are very inexpensive. PM me if you would like to know more. Would be glad to have you join us. Once I get to know someone better on the board, I make plans to meet them in person, if they live close enough. I would like to meet more too. I am moving my papercrafting into my dinning room and have much more room now for people to come over, but have no friends who craft. I think I might through a craft party, and have mixed drinks and make my friends craft with me. I know I have few people on my facebook that craft in my area I just have never met them.

Hi Patricia ... you're welcome to come over and craft with me ... I live in Orlando.  If you are looking for possible meet-ups in your area, it would be helpful if you shared with us the City and/or State you are in. Perhaps someone knows of a meet-up, swarm, crop or other crafty get together that will be in your area soon. Another idea is to check at your local Michael's, JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby, AC Moore, or other Craft Store near you (if you have any of these in your area). They often have classes and/or crop nights, and most of them also have bulletin boards where the community is allowed to post about their local upcoming events. Or, when you are in the scrapbook section of whatever craft store you frequent ... ask one of the other customers if they know of any crops. Most crafters are pretty friendly and usually enjoy adding new members to their group. In the meantime ... HI PATRICIA, I'M CAROL ... and I'd be delighted to be one of your Cricut friends.

Hi! My name is Joy and I am a card maker! A little scrapping but mostly cards. I am just finishing up about 225 wedding invitations! Whose bright idea was it to make them anyway.

Hi Patricia - I too love making cards. I am in Arizona so it would be hard for us to craft together in person but if you want to make cards with a group of people on the MB we would love to have you join in a weekly challenge that starts every Wednesday here is a link to that thread RAQs Weekly Sketch Challenge It is a great group of ladies and lots and lots of inspiration there. I have to tell you my card making improved 110% since I started doing these challenges 3 years ago.
