I'm having a meltdown this evening because I've lost my steel dies for the banners I've been making in these RAKS. And I thought I was being so careful with my dies!
Hopefully it will show up real soon.

Rhonda, you might want to consider changing your color choices to something different? I don't think we have too many participating that do shabby chic. Might not be something they have on hand or understand what you are looking for. I honestly can't think of anything in my vast stash that qualifies for you. I love shabby chic on certain blogs I follow, but have never really ventured into using those colors.
A challenge for down the road.
Also, something else to consider: Swapping in the RAK swaps may slow down this next couple of weeks because so many other swaps opened up all at the same time a couple weeks ago. So now everyone is concentrating on their other swaps, making sure they will be done on time, and spending their budget on those swaps....so it makes sense to me that there will be a lull in the RAK swaps from time to time. Mailing expenses have to be spread out.
So I just think there will be times when patience is needed. I, myself, am pretty busy with 4 other swaps this month, so I already said that I'd do less here on the RAK swaps. Once I get those 4 better organized and near completion, then I can concentrate on sending RAKs again.

OK...I will change my CHOICE to SOFT PINKS....baby pinks...NO BRIGHT COLORS PLZ...
metals...ribbons...buttons...bling...beads..no seed beads plz.....NO GLITTER....3-D flowers

Heart2hand.....I actually have some shabby chic items I have been getting together for you. I had not granted your request, because I just do not have the funds to mail them yet. If you can wait until the 28th, I will have my paycheck, and can mail you a nice box of items. We would also need to make certain this is OK with ScrappinGwen, as I would not want to end up on the Flaker list. I will leave it up to you to decide. When I participated in this swap last year, it would sometimes take up to 3 - 4 weeks to be granted, mostly due to the cost of mailing a nice RAK, so I would not get discouraged. I was really surprised at how quickly people were granting, and have been expecting it to slow down like it has. People do not realize how expensive these swaps can get because they just think they are giving someone stuff from their stash. Admittedly, this is less expensive than the swaps that require you to buy and mail items.
Anyway, as I said, if you do not mind waiting, and it is OK with Gwen, I can mail you something at the end of the month. Just. Let me know. GG

As long as Rhonda okays receiving late before you grant, I'm fine with it.
But this does not mean that everyone can start granting RAKs and then not mail for a month.
As an alternative, you can just hold off and grant to Rhonda later in the month, when she's up again. And then there won't be any confusion.
Rhonda will have to confirm one way or the other. Maybe she wants shabby chic for a special reason and needs before end of month.

I checked tracking, and it says "out for delivery"... to get to you today. Maybe some other kindhearted soul sent you some whites, too? This RAK is full of great people!!

I got a super nice pkg. of CRICUT GREEN GOODIES from COB today... I love the Medallions and flowers and ribbons...nicely assorted. I will make some cute cards with these...THANKS EVER SO MUCH !!   Sherrie - your BLUES are on the way ... I will take a break for a little bit here as I have a lot of projects to get started on...will be back in a weeek or 2 though...thanks to everyone who mailed items to me. I am looking forward to the metallics from RHonda, but NO HURRY...take all the time you need.

Rhonda - I can send you some baby pinks and maybe a couple things that are shabby chic. The shabby chic things might be best for the front of a mini-album. I'm not going to use them so they're yours. If you can't use them, just pass them on or whatever.
Who would like to send me some Bright Pinks? I'm thinking bling, anything fun for a pages about a tween girl.

Just doing some housekeeping for January RAKs: Terri has posted that she's mailing her 2 RAKS out tomorrow. Sherri has indicated in other threads that she's trying to get her swaps/RAKS mailed out Barb has mailed Rhonda owes to Barb but she's still within the 2 week time allowance so that leaves just fiftyshadesofpaper that has not communicated that she has mailed yet. Rhonda, have you heard from her at all regarding this thread or the other swaps she joined with you? ********** Thanks for doing a good job on getting RAKs out timely and communicating - makes it much easier for all of us to enjoy these RAKs! February may be a slow month for granting RAKs as I know many of us have other swaps due soon...but March should pick up again - after all....isn't that the month we like to find "GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW??" No, I've not heard anything from 50shadesof paper....so I have no clue. AS for Barb's metallics, they were shipped and maybe today they will arrive....

Gwynne...no need...it's ok...I was not getting things from teh ALPHA rak too, because I asked questions....so ITS ok...What is one more FLAKED on swap?

Rhonda - No, I didn't make the flowers. They were on a couple small boxes that I won in a raffle. I didn't care for the boxes, so I took the flowers off for you and threw the boxes away. I was hoping you would enjoy them! Good luck on your mini-album!!
