I bought a cricut from a friend who wasnt using hers anymore and I just opened it. It does not have a cutting mat with it. Can I buy that separate? Also, I don't have a USB cord with it. Can that be purchased as well?

you can pick up mats at michael's, hobby lobby, or joanns. Also you can use a printer usb cord that fits the expression and you can get that at staplles or any office supply store

Make sure you get the good mats - there were some stinkers out there for a while that were TERRIBLE!
The mat you want will have a white border and in the center of the mat is the word CRICUT in lighter print. The C in cricut has antennae on it. Don't get any other kind of mat.
The USB cord is a standard A/B usb cord - same as what a printer uses. One end looks like the traditional USB end - the other end that goes in the Cricut is a little fatter/roundish looking.
