This is what's frustrating about USPS. I make sure to send it out early and it still takes them forever. I don't get it. I got Laura's in a matter of a few days from when she sent it out and we are the same distance. This happened to me when I ordered something off esty. The seller was in CA and it took a whole month for something to get to me. Ok - had to vent ladies.

I just check the tracking for the mask and its not showing any updates since the 18th. Is there a way to ask the PO where the package is ? I have never had this happen before. The package was obviously mailed to me in plenty of time, but is a week past the expected delivery date.

See - I knew this was going to happen....
Laura - So I called the USPS at 1-800-ASK-USPS® (800-275-8777).
I freaked out on the phone to them. Since it has been over 2 weeks since I sent it I filed a claim/investigation for them to track it.
Case# CA111863273 - in case you want to check. I did it just now and they said that someone should get back to me in one buisness day. So I should hear something tomorrow or Monday. (I don't know if Sat. counts as buisness).
I will update.

It will be interesting to see what they say. I bet it will not be until Monday the soonest. I am so sorry you are having this problem and doesn't stop you from joining more swaps. This really doesn't normally happen.

Laura I talked to my Postmaster on Wednesday re: a similar issue that my sister was having and they said that they would check it out but if it was lost or stolen in transit then unless you had insurance on it there's really nothing they can do. It's just LOST! I hate that we pay extra for DC's and this can and does happen. It stinks for the recipient but is equally as frustrating for the sender. Laura~ I'm sorry that this happened. I don't know what to say!!! I've never experienced this myself but it seems to be happening lately. My Postmaster said that mail theft is up really high right now...not sure why...he didn't really say but he did say that the Postal Service is doing everything they can to make sure it doesn't happen. I'm not sure how that is since...yesterday I got a large Priority envelope stuffed into my mailbox...actually CRAMMED into my mailbox. If they're trying to do everything they can maybe they should bring those kinds of packages to the door! Just ticks me off...sorry for ranting ~Rebecca

WoooHooo !!!!! Guess what came in the mail. MY MASK . The sneak peak doesn't even start to do it justice. I am totally blown away Joann you nailed it !!! My daughter had a rough day at school and you should have seen her smile when she opened it . THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have to leave to take younger daughter to power tumbling but just wanted to let you know it got here and was so worth the wait. I would love to know where you got those tickets. Laura - LOL. I just check the tracking again on USPS website and saw tht you got it. I can't tell you how relieved I am.
So glad you liked it!!!! I had a fun time making it. My first expierience with a glue gun and a mask.
The tickets where just a piece of 12x12 scrapbook paper I saw at Michaels and I just cut it up. So glad your daughter liked it. I hope you can find a way to hang it up!

I had the same issue. Have not been able to get on. I just tried from work and I was able to get on. Hopefully they are working out the kinks.

HI ladies~ Hope you are all having a great weekend. I've had the best time with DH ...Friday was our 21st Anniversary and he took the entire weekend off to spend time together. He NEVER does that so it was a great surprise and we've had a great time just hanging out and spending time together.
Still waiting on Sumrbrez & Smlbugg...I know that they are related and that they're going to swap hoping to see pictures soon. Traci and I have also decided to swap ours when we get together later in the month. If Traci wants she can post a pic of mine and I will post a pic of hers so that way you guys can see what we've done.
