Hi Lana!!! Excited to be your partner! This is going to be such a fun project!!!! I haven't posted my wishes yet, still waiting to see what January will bring, but I'm sure it will be soon!!!!
Had another busy day, Matthew had his first basketball game of the season, they lost, but he played really, really well!! Went to the grocery store, came home, had a little nap (!) and then went to the kids house to watch Matthew and Kaitlyn and two other little ones while the Moms and Dads went to dinner... they were all so well behaved, but I'm pooped tonight!!!!

Traci/Rebecca, sorry the visit didn't work out again. Hopefully the next time will! Thank goodness for texting/cellphones, and skype! That is what gets me through living so far from the grandkids! I can't imagine how big my phone bill would be if we still had to do it all via landlines and long distance calls!!

Well when our kids were little we had an older farmhouse
and the only br upstairs was in OUR bedroom so we had
kids in and out allot. Cause they didn''t want to tromp
downstairs to the other one. But dh finally got one of those
hook locks so we could lock it when we were um....
busy and then unlock again afterwards...once in awhile
we'd forget to unlock it and would get grumbly kids
banging on the dr in the middle of the night LOL
Now we have 3 pple home and 3 baths so it's a non issue.
Becca pm me asap please as it looks like we are going to
be on the move again tomorrow to another place...I am starting
to feel like a migrant moving so much. I am not surew whether
they will have puters available there so I may have to check in from
home, hopefully next week.
I am starting to have some pple ask me to sell them cards etc.
One man at this hotel I am staying at wants me to make him 2 cards
and a banner. Another lady who is in my red hat grp wanted 10 cards
made. She got one of my thanyou cards from Bill's benefit and liked it.
So guess I will be a busy little crafter for awhile.
I did bring one suitcase with crafty stuff but not the images he wants
and some will be cricut cuts and I didn't drag that along either...
but I am working on some cards for the re hatter here.

Good Morning Maggie Sisters!! Happy Tuesday!!

Kathy, hope wherever they move you to you will still have computer access!! I know it isn't much but it has to help pass the time and settle the nerves a little. How is your dh feeling? Hope the treatments are being too hard on him. You know you both are always in my prayers.

Im so mad at myself. Was in HL yesterday and completely forgot to pick up a door hanger! I was in a hurry and just zoned on it. Hopefully our J's will have them. Otherwise I might have to wing it and cut one myself, but that is always scary!! Don't worry Traci, if I resort to that, you won't be able to tell. I will cover it with more stuff!! LOL!

Gonna be a rainy day here so won't be going out today! Have a good one and those in the lines of the storms please stay safe!!

I am sure whatever you make will be beautiful. I haven't even thought about this yet. DH has not been feeling well, we think he is having a reaction from this meds. Scary reactions! He has a doctors appointment this afternoon, they are busy because everyone is fighting the flu.

Did you give any thought to what colors you would like on your door hanger or do you want to be surprised?

Good Morning Maggie Sisters~ Wow!!! Looks like many of us are getting an early start this morning. I'm hoping to be wayyyyyy more productive today than I have been the past several days. Still can't shake this exhaustion. I feel like I wanna be in bed all day long. Sooooo not like me. I'm not sick...just tired all the time.

Kathy~ I PM'd you yesterday. DH is bringing me a door hanger home from the resort that he's at for his Manager's Conference this week. BigGrin I will get started on yours on Thursday. You have creative control to do as you please. I will love anything you make for me. Prayers for DH. Hope you continue to have access to the computer wherever you go. Sounds like you're going to be staying busy. That's great!

Janice~ We'll be getting some of those storms and I was going to try to stay inside and just craft but I'm out of some things that I need and so I'll have to make a craft store run and also ...hoping to get Jess' stamp in the mail today so that I can get her January project out to her today! I'll be dodging raindrops for sure. Flapper

DH is doing fine, the doctor changed the medication that was causing the problems. He said about 5% of people have these severe side effects. This was made worse by the fact that DH was drink grapefruit juice while taking it. It turns out that grapefruit juice somehow causes the medication to absorb faster and in a higher does. This can cause kidney failure and tissue break down that can lead to death. Scared Scary stuff once we realized the reason he was feeling so poorly could be ODing slowly on his meds!

Good morning Ladies...

Rebecca...thank you for asking. I'm still hanging in there. I hurts...can't do anything...I sit...I stand....I lay....nothing helps. UGhhh....go back to my DR tomorrow. It's a weekly thing until he thinks it's better. It feels like a **CATCH** in your side if I breathe too DEEP...OMG!!! The medicine he changed last week doesn't seem to be doing anything, but he said it had to build up in my system to get started?! Hummmmmm...how long does that take, not sure...cause I'm not seeing or feeling the difference. A question I'm asking for sure when I see him.

Scrappin_RN....I hope you are doing well. I know you work some long hours at your job and hope it's not keeping you away. EKkkks....answer when you can.

Traci....OMG...that is serious meds if it was doing that to him. PRAYERS are with you all. Thank GOd you took him to the DR...the end result doesn't sound good. How scarey for you all.

Kathy...how are you doing? How is DH?

Jess....How are you? I need to go to Walmart today, but not sure if I will get there...ughhh. DH was too tired to take me yesterday....Hopefully he will today :)

Good morning, ladies~ I've been up since 5am watching the storms. It got pretty scary for a little while. The wind sounds awful but we're almost out of the dangerous part. The schools are on a 3 hour delay just to be on the safe side. Thank God they decided to do it. I had already decided to keep mine at home for a couple of hours ...always worries me for them to be on the bus in severe weather. If you're in the line of storms that are going to go through this morning/afternoon....stay safe, dry and warm!

Rhonda~ Hang in there. Hopefully, the Dr. will get your meds all worked out! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers till you back at 100%.

It was pretty here yesterday. I stayed outside all day! Its supposed to be stormy and windy today so I think its going to be a craft day for me. I want to work on my Feb. swaps. Hoping to get this one done. I already cut out my door hanger. I have my idea now to just put it all together. I think Evelyn will like itWink !

Those storms are heading for us. They are expected to hit here this afternoon. They are talking like its going to be bad. Hurrican winds, isolated tornados and heavy rains! Not looking forward to it at all. Its supposed to be 74 degrees today. I am hoping to sit outside this morning before the storms set in.

Hey Rhonda! So excited to be paired up with you! I like soft colors - pinks with grey or browns and creams would work for me. As for the die - so sorry it is a Magnolia one. I have not gotten a magnolia ink magazine in the last 10 months so any from that period would be great!

Traci, sounds like a good thing you took dh to the dr! That is scary!! I have heard some meds you can't drink grapefruit juice with but had no idea of the complications it can cause!

I am thankful that the storms didn't get as bad as they thought. We got the winds and rain but no storms. Thanks for the prayers!

Anybody having super bowl parties this sunday? We are going to have pick ups but not really a party. I think my brother and his clan may come watch the game and eat. Not sure just yet.

Jess, No Superbowl parties here. I did not even realize it was Sunday until you posted it. I cannot believe no one posted a reply to your teaser that you have chosen the project for next month. I would love to know what you have planned.

Janice, I still haven't started your door hanger but I did order your stamp. I really cannot start my part of the project until DH tells me what colors he is going to use to color the Maggie we chose. I am heading to M's and J's today because both are having clearance sales. I should stay home but I cannot bear the thought of missing a bargain. LOL
