I have bought a gypsy from someone that never used it and was put away in a drawer. I went installed the sync udate software but it has pu the cricut image on the gypsy and i have a expression. What do I do now?

What do you mean it put the Cricut image?

i plugged in the gypsy to my computer to updated with the sync software and it just started updating maybe I missed something somewhere when it started but it put the cricut image on the gypsy. before it didnt have any machine on it.

I have a Gypsy that i don't use...but when i did an update I didnt put any machine on mine, its never been hooked up to any of my Cricuts. So i'm not sure that you need to tell it which machine you have.

You can still use it with your machine. Don't load the imagine application, load the other cricut application. I accidentally did the same thing because I neglected to uncheck the updates for the Imagine when I was updating the gypsy through Cricut Sync. I did the trouble shooting within Cricut Sync and it restored my gypsy to without the Imagine application. I'll put a couple of screenshots on how to get to trouble shooting when in Cricut Sync. You'll see this screen after choosing not to update or right after updating the gypsy. Here's a good video on how to use your stylis to "reset" your gypsy. Glad you got that Mary...  ...I never thought Imagine since she had image,it didn't click.
