How can I get the stuff that came with my machine to appear in the cricut craft room?

I am suuuuuch a rookie. I plugged in the cricut to my laptop today and tried out the cricut craft room tools. But I cannot see the alphabets and images that were automatically installed on my machine. Those were the ones I wanted to use! I don't have any cartridges yet, I'm still playing around. So if I buy a physical cartridge will I also have to use on the machine instead of the craft room? The craft room is so much more intuitive!

Which machine do you have? You can always go to the top of this page and click on New to Cricut, or Using your Cricut, can get alot of information from there.

Woops...I should have said I have a cricut expressions 2. It is AWESOME. I just don't know how to use it yet. :) I was hoping there would be a class around where I live, but couldn't find any that focused on the machine (only ones that showed you how to make a specific project). I will spend more time on the new to cricut and using your cricut sections...just was taking a shortcut by posting on the forum because I am trying to make a garland for a friend quickly! Thanks for the advice!
