OK, besides myself did anyone else cave in and make this purchase? I don't even need another cuttlebug but I couldn't pass up all those gorgeous embossing folders! I did the autoship too so I could get 4 more shipments of her folder designs!

If you order the Autoship - you get MORE folders? The holiday, etc. ones?
If you order single ship, you DON'T get those?
They are the same price? $99.95?

It took me awhile to figure it out but if you order single ship for $99 you get the cuttlebug and 22 folders...do the autoship and you get that plus in 4 more shipments you get more folders for an additional $24.95 per shipment...so in essence at the end of the year for about $200 you have the gold cuttlebug plus about 120 embossing folders. Thanks - that is what I was thinking was probably the case. I think they can get kind of deceptive in their sales...that or I get caught up in the moment of "ooohhh I want that...." - lol I know several who bought the Cricuts (way back when) and were surprised when they realized what they couldn't do with them - they thought they were more "open" systems. It pays to do the research! I have been looking at the Cuttlebugs - and they look SO cool... but I think I will resist. It does sound like a good deal, but I don't think I would really use it that much once I got it. I like the concept of the beautiful cards - but in all honesty. I very seldom send a card anymore. The golden cuttlebug still looks pretty nifty though.....

BTW ... regarding the auto ship ... Each of the 4 auto shipments include 16 folders ... 8 5x7 folders and 8 boarder folders. The cost is just under $25 for each of the 4 shipments (it's free shipping). I was thinking about this ... my guess is that "if" these were sold seperately (which they are not, at least not for now), you would probably get a 5x7 and matching boarder folder together in a package at a cost of somewhere between $7 and $12 for the set (just guessing). Doing the math, 8 sets for just under $25 makes the total cost approximately $3.13 per folder/boarder set. So I still think it's a pretty awesome deal! Besides, I love those patterns!  . (23 with the initial purchase, plus 16 more each quarter auto shipment (16 x 4 = 64), for a total of 87. I am starting to question my math ... so please correct me if I am wrong. I bought it too! I think it is great deal as there are 23 folders plus the Cuttlebug.I also ordered the autoship as 16 folders for $24.95 including shipping is a good buy. I love Ann Griffin's folders. They are beautiful. I have the original Cuttlebug and they said this is the latest but I do not know what the newest offers versus the original. I love the original one. OK, you guys talked me into it. I watched the launch last night. I kept saying I don't need it, I have one and don't need another one. BUT the embossing folders are so great and you get so many, and the autoship is such a good deal. Well so much for my resolution to not buy stuff this year, to just use my stash for a while. I made it 23 days, that's good right? LOL!!

Actually it is 16 folders plus borders.....in the stores the 5X7 folders with a border included go for anywhere from 6.97 to 9.97....so even though it isn't 22 large folders it is still a bargain.....(to me anyway)

I started looking at the show last night at 12:00. Love the folders and the gold "bug". I was hoping they had already sold out this morning when I got up. They hadn't, so I ordered(autoship). As I was looking at the 11:00/30 show they sold out.

I caved.... sold my old green cuttlebug on the MB just last week in anticipation of this coming out. As Anna herself said, PC makes it easy, I make it beautiful !!! And yes, with the autoship it is a good deal. I'll love using a beautiful machine and those elegant folders.
Did you know that the "hinge" part of the border folders has been moved to the long side, so you can do endless embossing?? And the new folders are clearly labelled with the name right on the folder in black, so we don't have to store our folders in anything labelled anymore? I'm thinking of taking a sharpie or other marker and labelling right on my old folders, too, because I know the patterns by name, and file them alphabetically!

so i was on doing the swap for the embossing folders and asked for a couple of folders to be made for me because i dont have a cuttlebug...so i have been looking into buying a cuttlebug at all of the craft stores..even with the 50% off would of been 50.00..then all of a sudden i see that hsn is having this cuttlebug for sale...im super excited because im thinking this has to be fate..someone is watching out for me..they didnt want me spending 100.00 at ac-moore...lol..so i got on today and ordered it..when i went to check out it said it was sold out...omg...i paniced..then it gave me the option to buy another one...so i did...got it..then i get on here and everyone is talking about auto-ship...so i just looked in my email....i also got auto-ship....OMG..I SOOO EXCITED....

I just checked it out & says {Sold Out} I don't need another cuttlebug but I love the embossing folders.... OK now I see there is the auto ship option left LOL. JD, They repeatedly said that these folders will not be available at retail elsewhere. There will probably be other folders that will get into retail or other values. They did say that this configuration will not be brought back. I think 23 folders and a cuttlebug for $99.00 on 4 flex pays is a good deal. The auto order option gets you an additional 16 every four months for 24.95 including shipping. Disclaimer! I love Anne Griffin products and knew I wanted the folders before it aired. When it aired with 23 folders! Well, it was a "no brainer" for me. Diania
