Come join us for another fun round of the Short and Sweet swap. You do not have had to do the last round to sign up for this one. Newcomers are welcome.

What: 1 Altered Mouse Trap

Specifics: You can make them into holders for messages, photos, recipes, etc. Please have some way that your partner can hang the item.

Round: Start February 1 st and will mail by February 28th, please post DC# to board.

I would like to join even tho' I'm such a freak about handling mouse traps. lol

1. Do you have purpose you would like the item made for - I would like to put it on the frig for notes.

2. Do you have a theme/style/colors you prefer - Steampunk of course. I love dragons if that floats your boat (I can always wear it as an ankle braclet to go with my tattoo). I love greens but no neons.

I'm going to join this round Kelley! But my family is going to flip when I tell them I'm now altering mouse traps!


1. Do you have purpose you would like the item made for - No


2. Do you have a theme/style/colors you prefer - If this gets used in my kitchen then I'd prefer yellow; brick red; light sage green color combo.

If kept in my craftroom - then really any color combo or theme is fine.

I do like ladybugs and red, or bright, spring flowers, (seeings that spring is just around the corner) but I've also been enjoying all the steampunk themed projects too. So anything goes with me when it comes to my craftroom. Whatever works best for my partner will make me happy.

You know how hard it is to find just plain old mouse traps????

wanted to do some at Christmas for the teachers and tried to find 30 of them to do.. well no one had more then two packages..so had to do something else but really.. what is wrong when you can't find a good old mouse trap.. they were either plastic or the sticky ones..

now if you are really wanting to go big get a rat trap but just be careful could break a finger with the spring on those...


COB I think Kelly is just playing with you because I did not see anything either.. So maybe she that she did but did not..
