So I knitted a short scarf w/ needles and this is the matching hat. Great part, the scarf took days, the hat took an evening. Still lovin' my loom. So here's the details. I used super chunky yarn. I did a long rim, it was about 8" when I knitted it back into the hat. I then did single e wrap for 5 rows then double wrap two rows. Single wrap 3 rows, double wrap 2 rows and then single wrap 3 rows. That gives it the fun little squared off top. The short scarf isn't on the loom but super easy (I'm just learning how to use needles). I used Lion Brand chunky yarn. Knitted 25 stitches to about 3'. Folded the first 3rd down and sewed it down. I put the big button on for decoration. They are super cozy. Edited by user Monday, January 21, 2013 9:42:52 PM(UTC)
