My step daughter will be having her baby shower in a few hours. After that I will come back and put all of her decorations and party favors etc on here but in the meantime I have to share my first cake. Now I am open to suggestions on improvements but please be kind since this is my first one. I used buttercream icing because I hate the taste of fondant and all of the cutouts are fondant and gum paste mixture. This didn't turn out exactly like I had planned but I am at least satisfied. I hope everyone at the shower can deal with it. Thanks for looking and for any advice. :) Edited by user Saturday, January 19, 2013 1:56:23 AM(UTC)

I think you did a great job. I love my cricut cake machine, just haven't used it that often, but the creativity is wonderful. I also use it to cut cheese squares for crackers, cut cookie doah and cut tortillas. Quite impressive when you have a party and you can have cheese on crackers all cut out to match the holiday and matching cookies and tortillas. Give it a try.
