Hi I've never posted on here before. I'm just learning to use the cricut and I'm seeing all these svg files. How can I use them on the cricut machine?

No the Cricut is cartridge based.

Can someone tell me why we can't use some of our own pictures??? I still have purchased the machine and several cartridges so I am really not understanding. Also I seem to be having trouble with my first project, I am using cartridge pictures then adding text but it won't cut???? I'm new so help me out a little please and thank you

I'm new so help me out a little please and thank you You can't use your own images because Cricut is a cartridge based system,it's the way it works. If you want to use your own images you can do some research and find other machines that you would be able to do what you want. Are you using the CCR to do your project? Are you using cartridge that you own?
