Hi, I just got a Cricut Mini today, installed it, etc, all the drivers are running, but the machine will not work!
It all starts when I try to load the paper, I press the button & the paper goes in, however the blade moves across as it's doing this(not sure if thats normal?) and gets stuck halfway across, & makes a screeching sound. Then the power button flashes red & green, & the machine won't do anything but turn off after that.
What could be the problem? I really don't know what to do, & I am getting rather frustrated to say the least! Please do help. I have tried uninstalling the drivers & reinistalling, but this made no difference.

Yeah, that would be an idea, haha, but I have really bad phone anxiety & wouldn't be able to do tha, which is why I'm trying here. Thanks though.
Anyway, I seem to have had a mini breaktrhough, I don't think I had the drivers installed properly before, I dunno what i did, but all of a sudden when opening craftroom it asked to install them, so I did. So that's done now, yay, but now it wants me to update the firmware, which I have tried to do 20 odd times now, & it fail every time. So I am still stuck, & not able to use the machine.
Any one have any hints/tips for updating the firmware successfully?
