Traci - I'm sure hoping your pkg. arrives soon to you....You are going to laugh when you see the address label...it double printed and I didn't even notice it until AFTER the PO guy plugged in the info. I said I would take it home and redo but he said it would be just fine. So I trusted him..... Will be my own fault if it takes the long way around to get to you!

Good morning, ladies~ Hope you are all having a great week. I've been out and about getting ready for our trip to DC. I'm all organized and ready to pack. When I cannot think of anything for a letter, I go back to the original swap to look at what those ladies had posted. "Q"= quick dry glue, quarter inch ribbon, quiver (cupid's arrow holder): from the first Q wishes on the old thread.

Suggestion.... If we have the harder letters such as Q, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z..... shall we combine letters with the next following hard letter? Ex. Q & U, V & W, X,Y, and Z ? Then this will give the poster more ideas on what they could ask for, and the swap might go faster?

I think that is a great idea! Though I think we also need to remember that this swap costs a little more than some others, with the shipping charges, it can really add up. I do not think we should expect to have our wishes granted on a daily basis. I do think a week is a more reasonable expectation, with maybe 2 weeks being the normal limit. When I was in this swap last year, just after joining the Message Board, it sometimes took 3 weeks or more to be granted. I know I am on a budget, and though I would love to grant every wish I see that I know I have things I could send for, I just cannot afford to do that. For me, to stay on budget, I really can only grant 1 or 2 wishes a month, because of the other swaps I am in. My DH reminds me every time he sees me packing up a box for a swap that even though it is from my stash, I still have to pay the postage! And, I know I am not the only one on a budget. Combining the harder letters will definitely make it easier to come up with wishes, and make it more likely that someone will have enough stash items to grant the wisher. I know these are 2 separate issues, but thought I should mention my previous experience, particularly for anyone who might be new to this type of swap. Blessings, GG.

We are not going to combine letters. It will take time and thought with the harder letters but that is part of the fun. Again, you can go back to the original swap for idea. These items are from your stash, so the only cost is shipping. You do not have to ship priority or first class, this will save you money. I ship the least expensive way possible. Yes, the swap is moving a little slower that is ok, wishes are getting granted. I am not granting every day because I don't want to lose track of my grants. I grant one, then mail and grant another. My current package is ready to go out but I had company and did not get to the post office. I will not grant another wish until it is postal. That helps me to not miss what I am supposed to be mailing. The idea of the RAK is to play when and if you can. If you only grant once a month, week or once a day that is fine.
