I purchased an imagine second hand and I'm having a hard time loading the ink cartridge the directions say slide right in, they are the right cartridges cr12. there is black plastic in the way if that slid down the cartridge would work what am I doing wrong. I had to go online and download cricut sync to get this up and running it now wants me to load the ink to finish this setup but I cant load the ink

When I install a new cartridge, it seems to go in better at an angle. You might try calling CS for them to advise you better. There is also a YouTube tutorial on setting it up & replacing the ink cartridge that I found very helpful.
