When my E2 starts up to cut, it look like its scraping my paper first before it actually starts to cut. Sometimes the blade will scrape straight across my paper or it will scrape it diagnolly across my image. When the blade is scraping the paper, sometime it will cut through the paper and sometimes not. This is very annoying and don't know why its doing it. Any ideas?

Have you cleaned your blade, in that sometimes paper gets stuck on it, i just take out the housing and look and blow some air in there.

It sounds like we just need to send you a new blade housing. If you just bought your machine do make sure you activate your warranty by registering your product. Cricut Tanja
