Well thanks for this MB to help cover our questions. I had tried every way possible to get the score lines correct using my AE2. Got on here to see if anyone else was having the same problem. After reading that the problem in indeed with the E2, I got out my new Cricut Cake and put the scoring blade in it and then used the regular blade housing and everything came out perfect!!! I hope they get this corrected for the E2 soon. I hated having to get out my Cricut Cake to use for this but at least now I know that I do have a back up if/when needed.

I tried using TBBM2 at a recent Swarm and couldn't get it to line up. I was having to leave early so I didn't get to play around with it. I finally realized that I was trying to use it thru DS so naturally, unless the starting point was EXACTLY at the same point, the score lines wouldn't line up with the image. So, I tried it not using DS and it works!! I so very seldom ever use the Cricut without DS so this was something I had to think about for a minute. Can't wait to try some of the other boxes. ***I just cut the milk carton at 5"...it's a little small but oh so cute! At that size I can get two from a 12 x 12 sheet instead of just one at 6.5" (suggested size in the manual). Only thing is, I forgot to take the paper off and turn it around (I just inserted the mat the other way) so the pattern is upside down...includes little kid faces so the upside down is VERY noticeable). One on the left is cut at 6.5 and the one on the right is cut at 5.0. The 6.5 one is about 4.25 tall after all the folding and the 5.0 one is about 3.25 tall after folding Edited by user Sunday, March 25, 2012 3:40:46 PM(UTC)

I have the E2 - so disappointed. Trying to get it to work on my Gypsy. Never thought I'd want my original E back...but I do...alas.

Yay! I just tried with my Gypsy and it is PERFECT.
I line up the scoring underneath my cut layer - as best as I can tell. I have tried the Easter basket and cut 1, whichever that is. PERFECT.
I don't unload the mat - I just say 'Return To Design' and it was great. SO HAPPY.
BUT...I still wish it was workable on my AE2 without my Gypsy.

Well I got mine before I read all this. Sigh. Why can PC work all this out. It is very frustrating.

Anyone know why we have a cut for the box all in one piece then again in two pieces?

Hello everyone, I recently purchased the TBBM2 cartridge at Michaels and I have noticed that in the cartridge booklet it shows the designs being cut in 2 separate pieces, but on my E2 it cuts the complete project in one piece and the scoring lines do not line up. Can anyone offer any help or advice for this situation? I haven't contacted PC yet (today is Saturday so no help via phone)but this is very frustrating. Thanks.

I didn't realize a score tool was required until I purchased this cartridge but found that scoring it with my score board was quick and easy and I had no problems at all. I was about to order the score tool today but after reading the comments, I don't think I'll bother.

I think it cuts on 2 pieces when using the 6" x 12" machines and one piece on 12" x 12" machines.

Drat, if I'm reading the discussion here correctly, TBBM2 is not going to work on my original machine (6x12 bed) for the box function, unless the number in the red oval next to the image in the spiral bound book is 6" or under. Is that correct?

Aha! Just saw a couple of Youtube videos, found that the 6x12 machine will cut the box pieces in 2 parts. Happy dance!

Oh and for those who haven't figured it out yet the fix that PC came up with is the multi-tool button on the E2. If you have updated your machine you will find it in the global settings beside the relative size, real dial size, and paper saver mode buttons. Also have 2 videos on youtube re the scoring and card/envelope making one on the expression http://youtu.be/w5hQPTOc3bo and one on the expression 2 http://youtu.be/lSTLQdHcYrIEdited by user Tuesday, January 15, 2013 9:33:31 PM(UTC)

I am need of some serious help I think. I have recently purchased Expression 2 and always use my machine in Cricut Craft room. The screen on my Expression 2 is so small and just love using the laptop screen to design my projects on. However I dont seem to be able to use the scoring blade when using craft room as the scoring lines jusst dont match up. Is it something I am doing wrong. I love my machine but this is driving me mad. I want to make some Easter baskets. Hope someone can help me please
