Linked means that you will not be able to relink the cartridge to another Gypsy or CCR, but function perfectly in any machine, the only ones that do not are the Imagine cartridges, they only work on the Imagine and the E2 but not the printing ones they only work on the Imagine, BUT a linked Imagine cartridge still works perfectly on the Imagine and the E2. I hope I explained it right! So don't worry about purchaing a linked cart if you do not plan to LINK it to another Gypsy or CCR.

Thank you for explaining that- You can use it on any of the cricuts- Honestly i'm not sure about the imagine as I have never used one. you can use it wit CCR, you just have to have the cartridge in your cricut when you go to cut.
