I have received a lot of PM's asking for info so I am going to just post the info hoping I won't get in trouble. Besides poor little Hugabug isn't going to have any finger tips left
This is the original EBay seller and he will be happy to sell more at the $16.95 including Free Shipping but you need to call him directly. A BIG BIG Thank you to Hugabug for this Alert, I know besides myself it will be extremely helpful to so many. Fredrich Electronics 17594 Boonslick Road Boonville, MO 65233 (660) 882-7528

Silly question I'm sure but I must ask: This is an external battery pack so does that mean the gypsy will have something attached to it's exterior and the battery won't go inside like it does now? I'm a complete tech idiot so have to clarify to be sure I understand. I don't think it's possible to open the case so would probably have to be external, right? Thanks for finding out this valuable information.

Thanks for finding out this valuable information. I with ReenyBug ^^^^. I am confuse as to what I might need this for. Will this come in handy when my Gypsy battery dies or just help keep the Gypsy's battery charged? I got my Gypsy way back at the Launch on HSN. So have been so very careful with it.

This is an External Battery Pack that you would plug into your Gypsy, where the power plug goes. If your Battery dies on your Gypsy and you do not have a outlet to charge your Gypsy, then you would plug this in and it is like a second Battery.
I am not 100% sure how long the External battery will lasts because it depends how much is on your Gypsy as saved files but from what I understand, you should have at least 6 hrs or more if your Gypsy is loaded with files.
I will have mine, that I ordered, in hand on Wednesday and I can let you know more when I get it and use it. I have had my Gypsy since it was Launched so my Battery doesn't hold a charge like it use to, so this will be helpful for me.
I hope I explained it so everyone understand, let me know.

Thank you CalMom for explaining. I don't use mine away from my craftroom or living room so I have no problem being without a electric socket. Mine seems to be holding the charge OK for now, although I hardly use it without being plugged in. I am worried when the battery breaks down altogether like in some posts I've read. I did see where someone fond a place in her town replace her battery (you know the one PC said is not replaceable) I really need to find her post again and save the info, all my Carts are sadly linked to my Gypsy so when she dies I am lost. I hardly used my Cricut before I got my Gypsy also hardly bought any Carts till her. But went crazy lost my mind and went on a buying spree with Carts and upgrade to the Expression after the Gypsy, so once she is gone I will be lost. I will not use the New Craftroom as I have seen way to many people having issues with it. I also will not insert one Cart at a time just to make something. Thanks again for the info.
