Oh Ladies I have missed you.... between the wedding in Florida and then Christmas, I havent had time to do any creating and I really miss it. My scraproom is in awful shape and I HAVE to straighten it before I can create. Im hoping I will get it done this weekend. WELL I DID IT I FINISHED UP ALL 3 .THIS SECOND ONE WAS KINDA SCARRY I COULDNT SEE CUTTING ALL THOSE STRIPS SO I FOUND SOME CUTE PAPER ADDED A FEW EMBLESHIMENTS .. I made this card for my DH's B'day this Sunday.
My Sketch #2 Card:
Sentiment - Rubber Stamp
Cupcake - Stick-on by Recollections, which I glued to a circle I made from the same cardstock as the background.
I ran the center Rust color rectangle through my new Crimper..but it didn't post very well, but looks neat in person, though!! Added the multi-color glittery ribbon at top and on the center. Sorry, no Cricut. Wanted to use a "Happy Birthday" from a cartridge, but the area was too small and I didn't want the "Happy Birthday" ALL across the bottom of the card.

Happy New Year's ladies! Love, love, love the sketches for this week. Hope to get them all done. I need to work ahead and get some cards made in advance. Here is my attempt at sketch #1. I used the Winter Woodland cartridge for the ice skater and cut her at 3". I have been wanting to make her for quite some time and so glad I finally got around to it. The snowflake is silver with a red jewel glued into the middle. The frame behind the skater was cut using a die but I am sure one could cut a pretty frame from Elegant Edges. The paper I used is holographic glitter iridescent!  Now isn't that a mouthful!! I also get extra credit for I used my new heat gun and embossing powder for the Happy Birthday. Wow! Some beautiful work ladies! I hope to get to my craftroom this weekend but I need to put away all of the Christmas decorations and that means 4 rooms plus the real Christmas tree. I love putting them out in December but it is not so much fun to put it all away!
Michelle – Thanks again for hosting! Sketch #1 – love the cute hedgehogs in the rain! Beautiful frame for Sketch #2 and I love all the swirls stamped and embossed for Sketch #3. Love your second Sketch #1 – such a great image! Wow you have been busy – great layout. Looks like a great group of friends! Beautiful wedding layout!

sunnie!!!!!! thanks for sharing the pic i have watched the pics on fb it was a beautiful wedding! and yes do get in there and clean so you can be back too! :) its funny you say that about cleaning cause christmas day i planned to scrap scrap scrap and alls i did was clean in here lol but it did help and i been busy busy since! :)

I'm sorry I haven't been around... I've been on bed rest for the last couple of days. Sinus infection. I'm up and about today and a bit yesterday but I'm still very stuffed up and taking meds
... not a good start to the new year 
Well, school starts back up this Monday, so I better get it together real soon or the kids' school and after school schedules will run me ragged

Staying true to my New Year's Resolution of making at least one Christmas card per challenge...
...here is my sketch 2 and I'm also using up extra credit... the paper came from DCWV "Arctic Wishes" paper stack I got myself for Christmas and also the ornament border punch from ek success (both were on clearance) Cartridge used: Wild Card

And here is the other card I made. It is for Turtlebug's Hubby - and this one has some Cricut on it. The hills and sun are from Country Life. Doesn't follow a sketch either  OH WAIT it looks like it might be a bit like sketch #3 ha ha looks real hard and you will see it LOL

I hope to actually try and get one of the sketches started tomorrow, but Miss Emma and her Mommy are coming over and it is very hard to do anything with that Munchkin running around. She loves to come in my room and the first thing she does is pull about 10 rolls over ribbon off my ribbon holder that hangs on my closet door and she is FASSSTTTT

OK, I am going to try and slip in my comments before we go out to dinner with Turtlebug and her hubby for his birthday. Also Bingolady and her hubby will be going with us, then back to our house for our poker game

Adorable girl on your second #1. #2 again very pretty colors, love that lacey looking cut. #3 there is your purple :) very pretty like all the patterned paper you put together. Bingolady - #1 wonderful card, perfectly put together papers, simple and elegant #2 great colors and great way to use the striped paper to fit the sketch.
Sue #1 Wow so pretty, great background paper and the scattered butterflies are perfect. Very nice card for your friend's Mum, again the colors are so pretty, love the birthday label

Carrottop - very very nice, love how the colors just pop. Great image and coloring #2 WOW so pretty love the sparkley ornaments
Turtlebug - love your card, great embossing folder, I don't think I have ever seen that one. Love the pinks and greens together and the way you slipped the ribbon through the paper. Hubby's card, love the colors you picked and that ribbon is great for a guy.
Sunnie - nice to see you pop in, we have missed you too. Oh my what a wonderful setting for a wedding it must have been gorgeous, your daughter looks beautiful and love the grooms shoes .
Carol - very very nice for a Winter birthday, love that cut.
Raquel - There you are :). Sure hope get get better quick. Love your #1 with that black glossy paper and that PacMan guy cute cute Fabulous Christmas card and what a great idea to make one every week. I wish I could but I got all my Christmas stuff packed up and out away or I would be doing that also, don't have enough room to leave it out.
