I have so much paper, yet when it is on sale I buy more, yesterday at Michaels I even bought a paper pack I thought was ugly but I might need it so I bought it along with lots more paper. How do I stop? I buy more than I can use.
I did a shopping haul video on my blog, Michaels also has new paper, I have the urge to go back and get more.

Ha! I think everyone does this. I lose paper in my mess and end up buying more of what I already have, so don't feel bad. You can always donate some...If you can part with "the precious" that is. La

Nope. No cure. Especially when you find it on clearance at 70% off when you are standing line at J's and get all the the small paper pads they had on the shelf.

I would love to find a cure, and so would my husband! I have way too much, but yet I just bought more yesterday and found a 12 x 12 pad I am going to go get as soon as I have a coupon for it! If anyone finds the cure, please let me know. I think my husband would pay dearly for it. He would come out ahead in the long run!

I own so much paper at the present time that if I never purchased another sheet/pack and kept scrapping and card making I still would not run out in my lifetime!.....and yet I keep buying more everytime I enter the craft stores....I tell hubby that I buy so much because the grandaughters love to come over and craft! (as long as it is for grandkids hubby is just fine! ha ha)

I'm right there with y'all. I bought my 5th stack of clearanced Christmas paper today - not because I need it, not because I ever use Christmas patterned paper, no, just because it was on sale!

I have the same paper addiction! I told my cousin NOT to let me buy any more paper- specifically Christmas- as we walked into Michaels....but then the Christmas stacks were on sale for 70%! Ya... I ended up buying 1 that day and one the next day lol! I just LOVE the double sided Christmas paper so much better than the choices that are available the rest of the year so I wanted to stock up.... although you can only use it one month out of the year! lol oh boy!

DH and I were cleaning the craft room and he was moving things from my craft table to my closet and found (gulp) 18 packages of white card stack. Makes me wish I had an imagine now. LOL

Same here. I buy it for a few reasons. 1) its on sale 2) it looks pretty 3) I might need it someday for something 4) its on clearance.
I have a 12 drawer rolling cart that just holds paper.
I might try to get hubby to go with me to J's to get paper cuz its on sale here in the next day or two. He loves going there but when its paper on sale , he stands there and acts like the paper is killing him. No kidding.

The only way I keep from adding more paper to my stash is to stay away from the stores! It only works if I also stay off the computer too. I have only lasted a month. It really is an illness! Lol!

You tell me...
I have about 64 of those Iris 12x12 paper containers full of assorted papers...plus lots of other paper stacked on shelves, in boxes, etc.
I just figured out that if they each hold 100 pieces of 12x12 paper and I used one piece a day it would take me over 17 years to use it all.
Did I buy more when I found Christmas paper on sale at Js? Why of course I did. AND when I showed the 2-12x12 stacks to my husband (he was waiting in the car) he said I should get more. You guessed it I did. lol Now I have 18 years worth of paper.
Happy crafting D-

I think some of you have agreed, but I am just not seeing a problem here! I don't think there is such a thing as 'too much paper'!!!! And right now I am wiping tears from my eyes because I didn't get in on those paper clearance sales!!

Well, I scatter my paper packs around the room so I cant see how many "feet" of it I have. The only good thing is that I live over two hours drive from my fav craft stores and its too expensive to ship, so that keeps me in check.

There is no cure because they keep coming out with Cuter, more beautiful, more useful, etc Paper.
I have over 40,000 sheets of Cardstock , do you think I would understand I do not need anymore paper? NOPE
So, unless the world stops making paper, you will never be curable

I stay out of the craft stores and do not open the emails from the craft stores. I know that I have WAY TOO MUCH paper and everything else. I know that if I go into a craft store I will buy more of everything! So, I stay out!! I recently had an sudden thought of clarity! I don't have to use those fabulous craft store coupons! There will be more where they came from when I am ready to start buying again!! I am hosting a "Using My Stash" thread over on the Circle Message board. This is the third thread that I have hosted. People sign up to participate and then post their projects in separate threads. I add the threads to the main thread. We had nearly 40 particpants in the 'Holiday' challenge. I would be willing to start a "Using My Stash" thread on this message board if there is enough interest. I will create a thread to ask for interest. If there is enough, I will begin the main thread ASAP. There are some rules, but plenty of exceptions!!

So I took a trip to Michaels to spend my gift cards got more paper... Yeah didn't need more paper but its an addiction, i think by now we have established that. but the recollections pearls and gems were not part of the 50% off stuff i was really disappointed i even asked at the register and there sign said embellishments but she said that it was the stickers not the pearls and gems. My Michaels didn't have any new paper stack but a lot of the paper section looked pretty bare so maybe they are getting more in soon.

I have been staying away from the craft stores except if I need adhesive or solid cardstock. I have not been there for forever.

Ok.. I must say you ladies are actually making me feel better. I'm NOT such a paper hoarder! I have a lot of SU 81/2Xll cardstock that I need to use up from years of previous purchasing but that is dwindling and I may start tkaing the unused to a monthly crop and letting others use. But I actually had to go get 12X12 cardstock this week. I was completely out of black and didn't have much else either. I really haven't bought a lot of the cute paper packs and am trying to keep myself from getting started.
And I'm on MamaC's stash challenge so that does make me think before buying. As for all those coupons, well if I'm in Michaels for a purpose, I'll pick up adhesive ... which you NEVER want to run out of!
