Just home - not sure if I posted or not. Doesn't matter  if I did or not. So - easiest we have found: Pack items by the individual, so you will send me 7 baggies with 8 items in each. You can keep your own, just please put on a note if you do as some prefer not to keep their own - just a scrap of paper that says I kept mine with your screen name works great. Hope this makes sense. Note: If someone prefers to send each item in individual baggies, I can swap them that way too, but it cuts down on costs (of baggies) if you put all 8 pieces into a single baggie. Also allows for individual pieces to be created. Not too often, but every now and then we have had something that was fun to personalize (monograms usually).

Got my King Tut item preped I just have to let it dry over night and put a finish touch on it, and then I will be ready to mail. It took a little longer than I thought it would, take several coats of paint, your curious, Right!!
I'll just keep my baggie as well!

Yeah !! Glad they arrived and you approve of what I sent.
Have a fabulous weekend everyone. We have a 7 year olds birthday party tomorrow and other that that we are free this weekend. Hopefully I will actually get to watch a full football game. I am really interested in the Cotton Bowl tonight. We will be rooting for OU, want to see a Big 12 victory.

Just returned from the post office! They were very helpful in getting me the right size box and because it was so early there was no line!! I kept my own bag as well. Sitting here waiting on my oldest to help his brother in to the shower. He has a Proximal Humerus Fracture and cannot wash his whole body, so the 23 year old is going to help. Poor kid passes out after each pain pill. On the up side, according to him, some of the girls in his class have been calling him and asking if he needs help with homework and stuff. This from a kid who had no interest in girls 2 weeks ago. My 14 year old is growing up...ack

Denise - that is a really painful injury. The kids I know who have had it, though, have made full recoveries - no problem (other than pain and doing as told). They got back into their sport the next year. Hope his pain gets under control soon. That has to be tough.

Also - I did/am sending pm's to anyone who didn't do a slip for their pieces this round. I will print them up - no problem, but need to verify I put things down right. Not a big deal - we have so many new to this swap members joining and this is a different step. It will all make sense when you get your items back :D

Just a quick note. There are other swaps still arriving. Due date isn't for a few days so we are in great shape that way! I have emailed with anyone who isn't here yet and they are all on track. I think you will all be really pleased with the results of this swap. It is so exciting to see the various interpretations and all these pieces will look great on pages/cards/altered projects - whatever you like to create! I will take pics of a set and put on my blog (I will post here when I do) so you can choose to see early or not BTW - if you haven't let me know if you want to join in the next round, I will be posting it by Tuesday afternoon. Please post as soon as you decide. Still one swap per week for 8 weeks. Have a wonderful day! Oh - not sure if I mentioned or not, but I like to swap things out on Wednesdays. Packages are swapped out. I won't get shipped until Monday (unless things change). PO is only open for one hour on Saturday morning. I will be posting two things on my blog this evening (or tomorrow morning if I get interrupted) 1) anatomy of a swap - what it looks like and how I do them 2) pics of the items  <---my favorite part! No flakers - we have such a wonderful group - I didn't think we would have any. I re-use packaging when possible, otherwise, if it is priority mail, I usually have boxes on hand to use. You are right - not enough for separate. So, you will need to be patient For all in my swaps, I have started using Click-N-Ship, so anyone who is getting a priority package back, if I have your email, you will be emailed tracking once they get scanned in at the post office (I think that is how it works). If I didn't have your email (or cannot remember if I did), I will pm you your DC#'s as with Click-n-ship they are free when I use that service. This only works with priority mail. If you have shipments via first class, I am sorry, but if you didn't request/send $$ for DC, no DC numbers with them. I can't wait for you to all get back your items - they are so much nicer than the photos on my blog. I know you will all really enjoy them. They will make for awesome pages or greetings (in the case of cards)! Thanks to everyone in this swap - you all did a great job!
