Anyone know what size and thickness of paper to use for this? I just tried on fairly thin card and at 4cm (or 1 1/2 inches) and it didn't work so well. Also how exactly do I assemble the ornaments? The tutorial is not very helpful.

I am not sure how to assemble them but I did how ever use the 3d ornaments that were free online and I used them flat for cards. I did have pretty thick card stock.
I hope you find your answer soon.
I tried to put a couple of them together and gave up...... My daughter even tried and she gave up too.... and she can usually figure all these weird things out....
