Hi. I just got me a cricut machine for Christmas. Today I managed to put the blade on lol. I'm scared...in a good way. Not sure where to start. I'm looking forward to using this sucker!!

I remember that feeling of "what have I done", but I just picked out a cute item I wanted to cut out and practiced on that until I got it right. Putting all the little pieces on the items requiring layering took me a little time, but when I saw how cute they were I made more. My favorite thing to cut out is titles for my scrapbooking, but I have also gotten into simple card making. Go to Pinterest to check out ideas to do or look on the cricut message board for ideas. Just start cutting, that is the best way to get over the "fear" of this machine! Try watching some You Tube videos also, that helped me quite a bit!!!

Congrats! you will love it, I always had trouble rembering all the Icons so I made a copy of the Icon legand pg.3 of owners manuels and that bad boy is hanging right above my machine, It sure helped me.I got the baby bug,and the E when they first came out but when Mr.2 came he scared the life out of me. Like the others said watch some youtube and just start cutting.You will do great! have fun.
