Congratulations and welcome! Favorite cartridge.. you'll soon learn on this board we'll probably say ALL of them! Kind of depends on what you want to do. I love Create-a-Critter and use the Mickey Font a lot fo scapbook pages. Big fan of Artiste and really like CM Cheerful Seasons for a good all purpose cart. Go to the Cricut Craftroom and you can really check out the images on all the carts.
Enjoy your new toy!!

Like the poster aboves states, it depends on what you like..i have 130 sum carts so depends on what i'm feeling like working on, i love Create a Critter and Create a Critter 2, but i also love the Artiste cart, and then i like Suburbia, those are a few that i've been working with..but any given day i could certainly change which is my favorite.lol

I agree that it all depends in what kind of crafting you do. I love Forever Young and Suburbia. Elegant Edges and Wild Card too. While you are on Youtube look at the different carts, that should give you an idea. But when you buy a cart, you may be surprised that what you bought it for is just as good (or better) that some of the other things in it. I bought Life's a beach for the seashells, and then....Oh MY....all the other stuff in it was great.

That is a tough question. I don't think I can name a fav because I like so many for different reasons. I have almost 100 carts and I'm pretty sure that I have used every one of them. And Southgirltexas is so right, don't let the cover fool you. I am always pleasantly surprised of the secrets that are kept inside the cart that don't show up on the packaging.
Have fun
