If you go to my blog, please look at the last three posts. I uploaded just two or three at a time since the internet was slow. I assume it is bogged down because of the tragedy in Conn. today. God bless the families who lost their babies, mothers, fathers, spouses and all families touched by this senseless loss of life.

Kathy, your mini album is soooo beautiful! I just got this cart and can't wait to get started on it. I'm going to make a Christmas album for my famly. I have a question for you. Did you use chip board for the inside pages or just paper by it's self. This is my first ever mini album and was wondering if I need to use chip board for the whole thing to give it strength. Thanks

You've done a fabulous job on this mini book ... each page seems to be packed full of lovely embellishments, pockets, etc. I especially like the various shapes used ... it gives it a lot of interest and character. Once the photos and journaling are added, this will be a keepsake to treasure. Edited by user Friday, December 14, 2012 10:15:19 PM(UTC)

Thanks, everyone, for the comments. It's been a long time since I posted anything and now I'm glad I did.
I used cardstock for the inside pages and flipped the page images in CCR then glued two together back to back so that I could have matching facing pages. This made the pages sturdy enough and I did not have to use chipboard.
I am really facinated with this cartridge and wish I could find some 12 X 24 paper to make larger books.
MOMTOZSM: I will see if I can remember or find a file for the road trip page and post the info for you. Glad you liked it.

Kathy, thanks so much for the instructiions. I never would have thought to flip the design so they match. Untile of coarse I would cut everything out. Can't wait so see what others you come up with. Thanks and Hugs.

Gorgeous! I haven't tried using mine yet :( What size did you end up cutting for the one you posted? Great idea on flipping it! Michael's and Joann's have had 24" long paper before. Usually in odd spots.

:)Khrista Khrista, I cut the mini book at 7 inches and that is as large as you can cut on 12 X 12. The booklet has suggested sizes for cutting.

Kathy, Your mini book is beautiful! I just got the mini books cartridge, and I can't get all the images to show up on the mat screen and cut. With other cartridges, I select an image and it automatically appears in the top left-hand corner of the mat. With Mini Books many of the images do not show up, the mat just looks shaded. Did you encounter this problem? Thanks for any help you can give me! Julie

Each image in the handbook has a cutting guide number. Try cutting at that size or smaller. HTH.
