Good morning Secret Santas! I think Armywife has gotten busy, so I will post pics of the handmade items I sent her. I don't have one of the ornaments, nor all her goodies, just the 2 handmade things and her card. Maybe she will come back on and post pics of the rest. First all the packages so far look awesome! Next.... thank you thank you thank you Pam Holland aka kckid68!!!! I opened my box and finally got pictures taken (still learning the new phone)! Before I say another word... you all know me to be a sharing person.... but NOT THIS TIME! No dibbs, especially on the beautiful ornament that she made! Here's all the goodies that were in my box.... Hot Tamales (a must) Lindor chocolates, and a chocolate santa! Several flavored tea bags (to get me through the morning), bling.... OMG so much bling and stickles!!! She sent a whole little case of trinkets and treasures which I will use with my Christmas pics (probably in a few years).... a whole bag... do you hear me... a whole bag of my most favorite memento little tear drop inks! Now for the two favorites: a little mini book that she made with Christmas cardstock and then..... the ornament which is now on my little tree. You can see everything in the photos... Pam, thank you so much for a wonderful box of Christmas goodies that I will use and remember who sent them to me! And to think that you don't live but a few hours from me! Thanks for posting the pic Armywife! I hope those are the right blades for your cutter, and that you didn't have those copic colors! They are my 2 main skin colors to use.
Hope the babies are doing good, and are staying out of the Christmas tree!!

Good Morning Grandma J..... and all the other secret santas! I am up sitting here trying to get the rest of my Christmas Cards done so I can get them in the mail today and finally..... finally cross something off my list! My DD took her last final yesterday and for the first time in nine years of college, she was thankful to be done. She's in her last year of vet school and will graduate from Auburn University in Alabama with her DVM in May. We are all so proud of her. In my husband's family I am the only one that didn't go to college (same in ex-husband's family, her father) and the same in my family. There are times that I regret not going, but then again, I knew when I graduated from high school, barely I might add, I was not academic material and college was not an option. I'm also the only one under 6' come to think of it.... Talk to you all later.... Happy Thursday !!!!  Beach Bum

I understand on the college thing. I was the same way at the end of high school I was not at all prepared for college. I tried about a year after HS graduation but was so frustrated that I dropped. There are times that I regret it and there are times when I know it was the right thing for me to do. Sometimes I think about going back now that I am older then I think I'd rather just keep doing what I am doing. I don't really "plan" to go back to work, so why do all that work and expense?

Being the youngest of 4 kids growing up on a farm in the 60's/70's, college just wasn't an option for me. Wish it had been, I sure would't be doing childcare, at least not in my home!! Guess I am not sure what I would of chosen to be...never gave it much thought!! My olest sister went to college several years later and became a very successful RN, she is retired now from working many years with one of our local surgeons. She is the only one of us to go to college. I'm sure had one of us wanted to go mom and dad would of found a way, but it sure wasn't suggested much!!
Ronnie, your dd should be proud. Having been through everything we have been lately with our shih-tzu, becomiing a DVM is very tough!! We are taking her to the U of Illinois vet school for treatment aand have learned a lot about what all they go through to get to that title of DVM! My hat is off to her and I wish her success in her career!

Yep, college was not a go for me either. Being the middle of six kids, if you weren't totally motivated about going, it wasn't going to be brought up! Out of the six of us, only my sister above me went to college, some took classes, but paid for everything themselves. There was just no money. And I got married the following year after I graduated!!!! I think my generation was one of the last to actually do that so much. I've always thought about going, but things are always coming up to change my mind. I would like to just take some classes, but only in "fun" stuff... maybe graphic arts... I don't know...
Jess, you got some sweet things from Rhonda! This has been a really fun swap!
Have to go check on the noodles I have cooking for Bill's chicken soup for lunch. Can't have them boiling over!!!! I already have chicken, potatoes and carrots in the crock pot... GO ME!!!! LOL!!!!! Bill will probably fall over that he'll have dinner on time tonight!!!

Teri, That dinner sounds yummy. We had pizza because I was coloring Maggie's and lost track of time. DH and the kids have orchestra practice tonight for the Christmas musical, so dinner needed to be earlier than normal.  My son was happy to have pizza since we rarely order it.

I have a huge request!!!! Do any of you have the Summer Memories 2012 that you can stamp a few images for me??? I need them pretty quickly, my sister in law needs to make a card for her new son in law to give to her daughter to announce that they are going to Jamaica in March. I came up with an idea, but I don't have any of these. I'd need Edwin in Miami, Tilda Unanchor, Ahoy Tilda and Tilda in Key Largo!!! If any of you can stamp some for me, I'd appreciate it very much!!!!!!! Just pm me for my addy if you don't have it!!!
