it shows v121009 and when u click on the link that is what it says and that update is from 11/12/2012, a lot of us are looking for folk art and December 25th to be part of the newest update.
Just wondering if v121009 is the most recent and they did not update the version number?

You can now find the DS updates by clicking on the Support button at the top of this screen, then selecting Cricut Design Studio Support. As yet, the latest couple of carts haven't been added to the update.

I am so excited!! This is what I get for listening to friends, instead of checking things out for myself. I was told that the Design Studio was obsolete, so I have stopped using it. Reading the other posts, it is now my understanding that you can update AND I can transfer the program to a different computer. I just bought a laptop and would love to start using the DS on it. I'm going to try downloading it, then will call Customer Service to inquire how to change the computer info. Am I forgetting anything? Thank you all for posting your questions and "educating" me!! With two moves in the last 9 months, I have hardly done any scrapbooking! Trying to get back in the groove and wanted to update my DS. THanks everyone for the help on how to do that! May try the CCR for the first time too - haven't ever even looked at it.

I would like to know when DS is going to be updated since there are new cartridges out there. There's a few missing and I'd love to be able to use them for designing, etc? Is there an OFFICIAL Cricut staffer that can answer this?

Your best bet would be to call Customer Service. The more they hear from us the more they know that we still use Design Studio and want it updated.

Can someone please help me? I updated the fonts in my Design Studio and now it is saying it is in Trial Mode. I tried to Activate it again and it says this Design Studio is activated on another computer?!? I don't understand why it doesn't understand that it is registered to MY computer. What do I do????

I have a thread in this forum where I have started to gather names of cartridges not included in the V121009.exe CDS update. Here it is as of 2/14 I will email it to customer service. I have just downloaded the update to CDS (it has been a while) and now when I try to cut with it, I am told it cannot find my cricuit. Don't know what went wrong. Could someone fill me in or go thru the update procedure for me. Thanks Glenda
