I am curious about who lives where it snows....I hate cold weather, but I do love the snow at Christmas time. We are just now getting some snow & it might stay till Christmas by the looks of it....
Snow looks so pretty against Christmas lights outside.

We got quite a bit last night and earlier today. Now it's just blowing really hard. The temps are going to get to approx. -21 by this morning. I hate the cold but don't mind the snow, especially for Christmas. We need to have a white Christmas!! BigGrin

I am here on the east coast in Maryland and we have only rain here for right now. . . But a white Christmas would be a beautiful thing truly considering I am packing up my house so I can move, my back is not in the right shape for me to decorate my house for Christmas, and putting up the tree just would not be a possible for me at this time. But I can always wish for a white Christmas and the fun of my children opening gifts. . . That I am grateful for.

No snow, not even real cold here, yet. Rainy and 50 degrees. Love cold weather, snow not so much. We used to live in Ohio and our first year there we got like 86 inches. ick
Stay safe.

I wish I lived where it snows. I am in Texas and it was 80 degrees today. I would love to have a white Christmas. It is supposed to be 50 in the morning. I hope this cold front really does make it to us.

No snow here yet. We might get a dusting overnight. The weathermen are excited that we might break two records, the 1st measurable snow and the latest snow of the season. We had rain yesterday and today. The next 2 days the high will be around 30.

I just love snow! I was born in grew in Russia where snow stays on the ground for 3 winter months and it's gorgeous! It's beautiful and so much fun for kids!

Now I live in Massachusetts and for the last couple of years we barely ever have snow. When it falls it does not stay more than 3 days. My kids are crazy about snow, they want to play in the snow 24/7. They keep asking me when it's going to snow, it hopefully will.

Not today Bored , not tomorrow and not next week according to forecast.

Enjoy the snow everybody!Love

I really LOVE that look, too, JD! We used to take the kids (this is many moons ago) on a sled ride (DH and I walking with them on the sled) the first REAL snow of every year...usually close to Christmas. I loved walking in it when it was coming down really hard. On Christmas Eve (since I had a stepson and DH and I have two kids together), I would take the kids out to see the Christmas lights around town and Santa would come while we were out, (since DH's ex had our oldest every Christmas morning). When the kids got older and on their own, I still LOVED to go out on Christmas Eve and see the Christmas lights. DH isn't into it....although, he will go around town sometimes if we're out together to see them...very rarely, though.

It's extra pretty when there's snow on the lights!

Snowing here...or just stopped. Snow parking ban is in effect.

I've swept the walk twice, inbetween the guy who normally does all my lawn work. And, I've snowblowed the driveway twice.

I'm with those that love the snow. What a great look for Christmas!

Well, I do like snow, but some winters in drags on too long. We are getting our first snow now but sometimes theres still snow on the ground in March! Cursing Crying So by that time I'm so wanting summery, hot weather.
Luckily in Feb. I will be on a cruise to Mexico & Grand Cayman Islands so that will get me out of the snow for a while. :)

It started snowing before Halloween. We have a couple of feet now and its snowing again right this minute.

Sometimes its gone in February and sometimes not until late May. Typically its gone by March/April-ish but we often get a dump of the white stuff around May 24 (risky to plant anything prior to May 24).

We have over a foot of snow, and yesterday we had high winds, so blizzard conditions. I know I won't be going to work today, it's 26 miles and the roads haven't been plowed. Lots and lots of snow! The wind has gone down and just left a lot of snow in the yard. Winter is officially here.

I see you are in the UP. I have very good friends who live in Nabinway (sp ?) in the summer and spend the winters in florida by us. Are you close to there?
I am in Indiana right now and we don't have snow. I am hoping it holds out until we leave for Florida. I hate to drive in snowy weather.
Have a wonderful snowy Christmas.

I am in the lower peninsula of Michigan, Metro Detroit area and today it is just drizzling, cloudy and drab. No snow in the forecast for us. Last year we didn't get any at all and it wasn't very cold, my kind of winter. My kids didn't like it at all though, they love the snow.

No snow where I am (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada). We have had a few flurries this year, but nothing of any accumulation. Today is supposed to have a high of 12 celsius (54 F), so none today. The forecast between now and Christmas only has two days where it is supposed to be below freezing, and a bunch significantly above.

Contrary to the stereotype of a Canadian winter, we don't usually have a white Chritsmas where I am, and we rarely have a winter where the snow stays all winter.
