Hello my dear MB friends! I am finally home from the hospital! I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes. I wanted to apologize for not being able to communicate what was happening. I spent a few weeks in the ICU for a blood infection caused by my liver disease, sedated for most of that time. I am also sorry to those whom I owe cuts. I know you have waited a long time, without any word as to what was occurring. I was unable to do anything while in the hospital, but can now work on the cuts here at home, so I will be getting them to you this week.
I may not be able to be as active as I normally am in these swaps for this month and next, due to my recovery. It will take at least 6 months for me to get well and be out of danger. I have several restrictions, including having to mostly stay in quarantine at my home for at least 2 months, except to go to doctor appointments. The infection completely destroyed what was left of my immune system, so I have to be extremely careful of who and what with which I come in contact. I am not in much pain now, but am very weak and tired. I am, however, so happy to be home, and am in a much better mood due to being with my guys!
I would very much appreciate your continued prayers. I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving, and have a lovely Christmas in store. I will be spending some time getting caught up on all the posts I missed while in lockdown. Also, I wanted to thank those of you who sent me cuts you had granted while I was away. When I get caught up with my mail, I will list and thank you individually. Thank you also to Jen (BCSQ) for all your e-mails, messages, and texts, and for letting the rest of my MB friends know what was happening. You have cheered me on many occasions. You are a wonderful friend and we are all blessed to know you.
