This is a special month for the Maggie swap because we are celebrating 1 year! I think thats amazing! I have built so many friendships through this swap! I am thankful for each and everyone of you!

This month the project will be an altered paper bag with handles! The size is up to you! Just please none too small. I will include pictures below! You are to embellish one side of the bag only! Go all out with embellishments. Create something out of your comfort zone.

Please send a new maggie stamp and 1 other item from your sis's wishlist! I look at this swap as a type of happy mail so I would like to add another item to add to the surprise. When signing up please add a wishlist of 10 items. Please include items that can be found locally as well as online. Please keep them within a reasonable price range. Remember to use coupons when you canWink !

The due date is January 26th. Please post the DC# when mailed! I think we can mail these in envelopes just make sure you add something to keep them from bending! I was thinking a piece of cardboard or something might work. I am going to try to stick to projects that will save us on shipping. I would rather use envelopes when possible.

You must checkin weekly! This is a requirement! If you do not you will be removed and not aloud to swap with me anymore. If you are going on vacation/trip and can't check in let us know. Thats all I ask!

Laura, Glad you joined us. I was worried about the projects when I first started and have learned so many things by participating in this swap. You-tube is my go to place when I am not sure how to make something.

I have Tilda with Ribbon Heart Scarf! That's the one that I just purchased. I'll stamp you some of the images and put them in your Christmas box. That way at least you'll have the stamped images in case you need them for a project

Rebecca you are awesome! I wished my sister would craft or at least acknowledge handmade items. I have tried and tried to get her to, with no luckThumbDown . She says she's too busyUnsure . The way I see it, she just isn't interested. Handmade crafts just aren't for some people. Thank goodness for my daughter. I think I have a solid crafter in herBigGrin !

GrandmaJ I will close maybe tomorrow afternoon. That way we can get startedWink !

Jess....I'm sorry I will not be joining this month....I'm sitting out on alot of swaps for now...WORK is a nightmare...the 10 hr days and weekends are getting old. NO time for crafting and it wouldn't be fair to someone to wait because of my job. ENJOY ladies....I can't wait to see your creations

Janice/Jess~ Thanks ladies, but my sister is the awesome one! You should see all the things she's done to help me further my crafting! I've always crafted and she's been my biggest fan and she encouraged me to join you guys. Being a part of the MB has taken my creativity to a whole new level. I used to do mostly cards and I've learned so many things since I've been on here. I'm so excited to see her in January!

Rhonda~ You will be missed. Hope to see you soon. Hope that your job settles down a little so that you can enjoy the things you love! Will be thinking of you often. Looking forward to when you get back on.
