Trying to update gypsy because Expression no longer recognizes! PROBLEMS!

A couple of weeks ago I tried to use my gypsy to cut on expression (both have been working fine for years) and my expression no longer recognizes gypsy connection. Figured I'd try an update of gypsy. Thought I succeeded..but when I went to turn on gypsy, I get an error saying something to the efffect of it being unathorized...wont even load! WHAT DO I DO?
I am trying to sync again....hoping it helps!
