Hi Recipe Ladies~ Just a quick request if you have the time. DD just moved into her own place a few weeks ago and has asked me to make her a recipe book of recipes that are quick and easy. Would any of you mind sending me a message if you have one you'd like to share? Going to make her a recipe book. Thanks so much ~Rebecca Edited by user Thursday, November 29, 2012 9:49:14 PM(UTC)

Does she like soups. I have a great Paste e Fagiola recipe that my kids all fight over when I make it.

Rebecca here is a recipe that my boys just love and it is easy. Enjoy! HAMBURGER BEAN BAKE 1 lb. hamburger 1 can each kidney beans, lima beans, drained 3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. catsup 1 tbsp. mustard 1 tsp. chopped onion Fry hamburger and onion. Drain; mix in other ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Donna I sometimes would substitute other beans for the Lima beans and and add extra bacon. My men love their bacon! I'm just waiting for one drop of Glitter glue to dry (on only one of the layouts) before I put them in the mail.

Jean~ My recipes are on the way..... Priority... DC # 0312 1430 0000 8513 expected delivery Friday.
I was so frazzled when I went to the PO because of mailing for the No Excuses Swap...box was too big had to run home and repack and get back to the PO before 4:30 to get it in today. Sooooo...I completely forgot to put the return postage in my envelope with the recipes. Please let me know how you'd like me to proceed to get that to you! I can Paypal it to you if you'd like. Just let me know...thanks

~Rebecca Those were always my favorite meals too. Something else that I made that my boys just loved was what I called Stroganoff. It wasn't the real thing but my version. They didn't like real Stroganoff. I would brown a pound or a pound and a half of ground beef with diced onion and garlic and drain. While that was browning I would take a box of macaroni and boil the macaroni until tender. I would set the pasta and browned beef aside. Then I would take a can of Cream of Mushroom soup and put this in a skillet along with the can of milk to dilute it. I would mix it up and heat it up. I would then add the ground beef and noodles and add another can of milk. I would sprinkle the cheese for the macaroni on this and add the butter or margarine and mix altogether. I would also sometimes add extra cheese to make it cheesier especially as the boys got older. To this day this is one of my sons favorite dishes and it is something I just threw together one night when I was desperate to come up with something that they wouldn't complain about and would be enough food for 3 growing boys.

I'll add that to my recipes as well. They'll love that. They're idea of a good meal is Hamburger Helper. I love thrown together meals. Those are the best kind! My kids love what we call "heaven in a bowl"...it's just boiled chicken with cream of chicken soup and a can or 2 of chicken broth and you bring it all together and serve over rice~ every kid in the family loves it...heaven in a bowl for them because they like the way it tastes but to me it's heaven because it's one of the few dishes that I cook that they all like! Thanks for your help ~Rebecca

The mail is moving real slow this week for my other swap. So just a word of advice that the sooner you get your recipes in the mail, the better off you will be. Even priority mail is not dependable this week.
Though maybe small packages with recipes will move faster then larger swap boxes.
But just wanted to warn you of the slow moving mail this week. Hope it doesn't continue next week too!

Got back from Vegas last night at midnight and then had a craft show this morning at 8am. Didn't get to open mail packages until this evening. When I counted yours, I said to myself, I hope she kept her own So there is no problem(as long as I remember )

All I have to do is add them to the packages and they will be ready to go. Most of you sent me enough to send Priority envelope with DC so I will print all the labels online and then send you back your extra $. Will let you know when they get shipped. Maybe today if I hurry
