Jess you are too funny! We are all going to have to find a place where we can meet..... I need to learn how to use pencils too! Or.... you can do a pencils coloring 101 on you tube.... hint hint hint LOL

Ronnie I would love to meet up with my wonderful friends from the MB! About the youtube video....I don't know about thatScared ! I do like coloring with pencil though. I am buying myself the big set either for Christmas or shortly there afterWink !

Has anyone ever used baby oil instead of odorless mineral spirits? Just curious if it really works.

Speaking of pencils...did I see an email that said carpe diemstore has them on sale? And there is a rebate too! Remember, you have to put it in your cart to see the real sale price!

Hopefully my order will get here today! Then I can mail this swap and my maggie swap to their new homes!!

noahsarkgirl, Congrats on the baby girl. I will pray that you have the "girly-girl" that you want. My oldest has disliked girly frilly stuff since we brought her home from the hospital. Her coming home dress had lace and frills and she cried like crazy on the entire drive. When I changed her to a onsie she was happy. My youngest daughter loves hair-bows, dresses etc. So, I had to wait almost 7 years but I did get one girl who likes clothes, shoes and everything "girl". BigGrin

Almost forgot to say CONGRATS ON THE BABY BEING A GIRL Noahsarkgirl!! I had 2 grandsons and then finally got a grandaughter to spoil!! I have already bought her a pretty dress for christmas.. She LOVES to dress fancy and frilly!!

You are so right GrandmaJ! Your crop! I am going to try to make it! I have never traveled and think it will be fun. Of course DH will have to drive me and hangout in the room while I'm crafting! Im mailing my goodie box to my secret santa today!! Hope she loves it all!! Its the first time I have ever made a ____________________ but i think it turned out ok! I also took a class and made her a _______ so im hoping she will like it!! Now that Im thinking about it though I still have to wrap the ornament!! OMG!!! good thing i didnt seal the box yet!!

GranmaJ.... what state do you live in? I'd love to come to your crop... depending on when and will probably bring a friend or two!

Anyway.... it was cold this morning.... had an early nail appt. so I had to go out... just not ready for winter yet!

Jess.... it would be so much fun to meet up and get a pencil lesson! What pencils do you use? and what else do you use like to blend with? You know me.... I am a copic marker queen!

Good Morning everyone! Happy Friday and last day of November!!

Armywife...Give those babies a Belated Birthday Hug!! How sweet!! Did they have fun with their cake? Hope we get to see a picture of them celebrating!! What a blessing they must be!

Hollywood, I know you aren't my Secret santa since I have already received my pkg from Adens_Nana, so I won't bother posting my dh's name!

Hope to finish packing my pkg today and mailing this weekend. Might have to go with 2 boxes too as don't know that 1 item will fit in the box with everything else! (what was I thinking!!)
Really nervous about whether my person will like their pkg or not. Hope she does! Unsure

Ronnie....I live here in Illinois!! My crop will probably be late September or early October next year. Early Sept interferes with people getting their kids back in school, and then I have to try and avoid college homecomings in the area that fill up our motels. But I don't want to go too late and get into holidays. Or...we could go with earlier next year and try to avoid school by doing it in late July, but that would interfere with family vacations...it is soooo hard to set a date!!!!!!!!

Jess, that would be cool to get to meet you! AndI bet we could find something for dh to do while in town! What does he like to do?

That message is driving me crazy, too! If I write a long post I have been highlighting and copying it just in case the board times out. Then if it does all I have to do is go back in and paste it. Sometimes I have not even been logging on because I don't want to deal with the board timing out.

Hello Ladies I'm sorry I haven't been posting but everyone has been sick around here and I was really sick I had had a little cancer scare but they tests came out great. And then my computer was dropped and couldn't get my keys to work so I had to get a new one and it will be here on monday can't wait. My ss pkg. is going in the mail tomorrow morning. And I did get mine but I was gone and my dd had it in her car so I just got it today hadn't had time to open it. i'm useing a friends laptop until Mon. so I'm at her house so I may not be on until tomorrow night.
