 Just updated from Cricut Create to Expressions 2, I realize I don't need the overlays with the Xpressions 2 and that there are many saved images already on the machine. My questions is, can I load and save the images from my existing cartridges to the Expressions 2 and save them? or will I always need the cartridges?!

You will always need to put your cartridge in unless you have your cartridges linked to a Gypsy or Craft Room. You can't save them to your machine's memory at this time.
