Our last swap was very successful, so we're going ahead with another. Come join the fun!

Our themes this time will be anything Valentine's Day or love related. The other group will be cuts appropriate for birthday cards or invites. We've decided to make the cuts a bit smaller this time, no more than 4" so that they will easily fit on A2 sized cards.

RULES:
1. If you can only make one bunch then do that. Don’t sign up for more than you can do. No flakers please!
2. You make 5 cuts and send all 5 for each slot you sign up for. It makes it easier to sort.
3. Cuts need to be less than 4" in all directions. This way they'll be great for card making.
4. Minimum 2 layers on your cut. You may add glitter/rhinestones/feathers/flocking/whatever you'd like if you so choose.
5. When you sign up, please let me know which cuts you'll be making (and what cartridges they come from) to help avoid duplicates.
6. Place each group of cuts in a sandwich bag with your real name, MB name, group name, cut and cartridge it came from. You will need to do this for every slot you join.
7. In addition to the cuts you send you need to include a self addressed envelope and enough postage to return the cuts (usually what it costs you to ship to me plus a couple of extra stamps). I'll send back any extra stamps in your envelope.
8. You can use any Cricut cartridge to make cuts.
9. The due date for this swap will be January 18

Okay - made my decision
For the Valentine/love cut I will do the heart chocolate box from Everyday pop up
For the birthday - the Fiesta from Ole
Please weigh in to help me choose!

I also think its great that other people are using carts we don't have!

Larmabee - my vote is for Fiesta, only because it's different from the others we'll probably get. But - and this may be kind of geeky of me! - I'm thrilled that yours & DugsPookie's cuts are all from cartridges I don't have. BigGrin I love seeing cuts from other carts!

As for hosting, I go back to work in January, so if you want to host the next one, that's great. But it's really not too much work because we're such a small group, so if you don't really want to do it, it's not a big deal.

Wow, Pat! You're speedy! BigGrin I'll send everyone my mailing address today, if you want to send them in early, by all means please do. I'm going to keep the birthday group 2 open for a little longer, I'm hoping scrapea&happy might sign up and maybe another person too? *hint,hint* Laugh If not, we can discuss maybe only making 3 cuts for that group? Good morning everyone! Sorry I missed last night. I must have been called or wandered away from my computer last night. I came back to it this morning and saw it sitting on the reply window for this thread! Silly me!
Plans are to finish Christmas cards this weekend and start our cuts.
Just to clarify - 1 birthday is for 5 people and 1 birthday group is for 4?

Thanks! I did the last firmware update on my baby... and now it is telling me "no usable devices" half the time. I've called CS 3 times, they always get it working, but then it fails the next time... so frustrating! They keep trying various things with my firewall, USB ports, etc. But I'm at my parent's right now and it's doing the same thing. Completely related to the firmware update, I'd say! If I can't get my cuts done, I'll email you when I'm heading back to town. Thanks for the offer!
