I would like to know if you have to put some kind of sealer on the vinly. I'm decorating some charges for Xmas presents and this is the first time I've used it so I'm not sure of what to do and if I put it on glass is there anything different to do for that. I know you can't wash them because it would come off am I correct Thank you in advance!!!!

No, you do not have to seal it! I purchase my vinyl from a local sign shop, so it is made for outdoor use. I have seen others post on the MB that some vinyl you can wash in the dishwasher. The vinyl I use can be used in the dishwasher.

I've decorated some plates and haven't had a problem with washing them in the dish washer. I use the outdoor vinyl from inkandvinyl.com. If you have a problem with yours try to pull them out before it heat dries as the heat will probably soften the adhesive.

Trying out the Word Collage cart on Canvas. Can I use any vinyl and it will stick?
